A/N: Just an idea I got watching last night's episode. Also, I wanted to make sure I wasn't the only person who found that scene with Locke on the beach with Palo was hilarious.

Deep in the forests of Minnesota, the full moon was rising. The serial killer frantically dug a hole in which to bury his latest victim. Pushing the dirt over the body, he abandoned the shovel and walked back off to his rusty pick-up truck.

"Now hold it right there!" called John Locke. "Every man is entitled to his secrets, so I won't tell the fuzz what I saw. But don't you think you're being a bit careless? Your prints can easily be taken from that shovel of yours, and the body is way to close to the campsite. Anyone could find it within the next week!"

"Oh…uh…thanks, man," replied the killer. He began to dig up the body.

"Can I give you another tip?" asked Locke.

"Sure." The murderer threw the body into the trunk, and the shovel followed.

"You might want to bury the body at the top of the mountain. People rarely go up the trail, mostly because it's very rough. Don't worry, though: your truck can make it up there and back super easily."

"Thanks, again, man," said the serial killer as he got into his truck. He waved at Locke in a grateful manner as he drove off.

Locke smiled to himself. Another criminal given helpful tip by John Locke. It had been a successful night.
