"So, whaddya think?"

Marco reclined into the old, slightly moldy couch and looked over to where Star was stuffing her face with popcorn. She grinned at him, pieces of kernel on her white teeth, before gulping down the huge mouthful.

Due to the crazy amount of rain, Star and Marco couldn't go outside without becoming soaked, so they had opted to do a zombie movie marathon. Star had been a bit confused, not completely understanding both meanings of the word marathon, but Marco had quickly cleared her up as well as he could. He had gone into the kitchen to make some popcorn, (goodness knows his inter-dimensional friend couldn't be trusted with such a task,) and left Star to choose a few movies from his shelf.

When he had returned, Star was holding a gigantic stack of zombie movies in her arms, struggling under the weight of so many DVDs. She quickly dropped them upon noticing his arrival with a gasp of relief. "You finally showed up! Wow, I thought I was going to have to hold those things forever!"

They had chosen a movie and popped it into the DVD player, finally able to relax. School had been particularly rough that week, and this Friday afternoon felt like some sort of blessing. Star had laughed at the incredibly cheesy effects of the movie, but Marco found himself becoming a little bored. Admittedly he had seen this with his parents several times before, and knew the suckish plot like the back of his hand. Even so, seeing Star so happy made it feel as though that didn't matter so much.

"It's so funny! I mean, why aren't they running away? There's two miles of empty field they could run through!" Star replied with a laugh. "I hope your dimension never has a zombie apocalypse, because you would be doomed!"

"No kidding there," Marco mused with a smile. He watched as another character's head was ripped off by mindless zombies and heard Star gigging through another handful of popcorn.

Maria! Run! Save yourself! ARRRRRRRRRG-

Star's eyes narrowed. "Wait, was this actually supposed to be scary?" she asked, turning towards him. She looked hilariously confused. "'Cause it really isn't."

"I guess some people find it scary," Marco answered, stretching out one leg and resting it on the coffee table. "This was made a long time ago, I think."

Star nodded in understanding and turned her attention back to the movie. Once again, Marco found himself absentmindedly looking over at his friend as she shrieked with laughter. "Watch out! That zombie's going to eat your brains!"

A/N: I watched Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil for the first time and got hooked. Here's a very PWP drabble of Marco and Star watching TV. Highly interesting. Worth a read. *cough cough NOT cough cough*

Just posted this because I needed to get it out of my system. Have a nice week!
