Percy's POV
I ran towards the Empire State Building, trying not to break down from looking at the happy couples around me. I manage to get inside and asked for the key for the 600th floor.
The man at the counter replied like he always had, "there is no such thing as a 600th-floor kid". I took the newspaper he was reading and shredded it to pieces,
"Look, man, I don't have time to waste just give me the key and there won't be any natural disasters happening".
He looked at me and shakily said, "Sor-ry sir, Jackson, here you go".
I went to the elevator inserted the keys and watched as a new button labeled 600 pop out as it always has been in the past. Apollo's taste in music still hasn't changed and it certainly wasn't helping, you might be wondering why am I in such a hurry to get to Olympus, well you'll find out. The elevator doors opened with a ding as I rushed to the throne room, purposely not looking at the beautiful architecture around, as it just causes shards of pain to go through me. I get to the throne room and hear the gods bickering like usual,
I push myself in. "Perseus Jackson why are you here and why have you disrupted us", Zeus thundered (Pun intended).
My father looked at me with worry in his eyes, My eyes that were once sea-green were now rimmed with red rings, and I am sure I'm paler than Hades. "I have only one wish uncle and it is one that you would enjoy".
"Hmm what is your wish nephew?", said, Zeus.
Uncle, I wish to die. Then literal chaos erupted in the room.
Zeus's POV
It's another day, Poseidon and Athena are insulting each other again, Hephaestus is tinkering what some metal pieces, Aphrodite is looking at a
mirror, of course, Demeter is berating Hermes and Apollo on pranking her garden while Artemis is sitting there muttering "boys", Hestia and
Hades looking around amused but just happy that they have a throne (Thrones came from Percy's wish), Ares is sharpening his already
oversharpened sword, while I'm here being berated to by my wife Hera. Suddenly, the throne room doors burst open to reveal Perseus Jackson,
my insufferable nephew of my brothers, which we all can't thank enough for all he's done. This, however, doesn't make it right for him to just
bust in.
I asked him why he was here, and he said he had a wish that might amuse me.
Hmm, well what is it.
What he said next shocked me to the core, "I wish to die".
