Hang Man

"Dean, why do we have to play Hang Man?" five year old Sammy asked his older brother. The two boys sat in the small motel room, waiting for the return of their father. He had only been gone for one day, but already little Sam was making a fuss about being bored. Dean was starting to get annoyed with his younger brother because every time he tried to entertain Sam, the younger boy was never satisfied with the game that they were playing.

"We have to play Hang Man" Dean started "Because I am the oldest and I am in charge." Little Sammy just looked at Dean with those big puppy dog eyes and stared at Dean, knowing full well that his older sibling would give in eventually. Dean looked away, trying not to fall for the adorable stare that his kid brother always pulled on him. He squirmed in his seat, trying to ignore Sam but the kid just kept looking at him.

"Fine! Alright! We won't play Hang Man" Dean growled at the now smiling Sam. He picked up the pencil and paper and put them on the bench. Dean was getting thirsty and so he poured himself some water.

"Dean?"

He stiffened, ignoring Sam.

"Dean?"

Again Dean didn't respond.

"Dean!" Sam wailed.

"What Sammy!" Dean turned around at looked at his brother.

"What do you want?" He asked.

"I want some water to" little Sammy said quietly, afraid that his brother would yell at him again. Dean's face softened when he looked at Sammy. Damn he loved that kid but he was sure as hell annoying when he was kept in a confined space for too long. Dean sighed.

"Yeah, ok Sam, I'll get you some water."

Dean got another glass from the cupboard and was half way through filling it with water when Sam said "No Dean I want juice!" Dean growled at his little brother.

"But you said that you wanted water!"

"JIUCE!" Sammy shouted! Yes the kid was cute but he was also very scary when he was angry.

Dean sighed and shot an evil look at Sam as he tipped the water down that sink. He filled the glass with apple juice and set it down in front of Sam. The kid happily drank the juice in one gulp and then looked up at Dean.

"Dean, I'm still bored" He said with a hint of a smile creeping across his face. Dean nearly blew a fuse, but he kept his tone quiet as he looked at his brother and said "Ok then Sammy, I'll take you to the park. How does that sound?"

Sam thought about it for a while and then agreed.

"Ok Dean" he said happily and he jumped up to go and get his boots. Dean sat back and smiled. "Little kids are so easy to please" he thought sarcastically to himself. He got up and went to go and put his boots on. He opened the door to their small motel room and called out to Sam. "You ready to go Sammy?" he called. Sam walked slowly up to him and then stood about a meter away from his brother. Sammy looked at Dean and then a sly smile crept across his face.

"Well are you ready to go to the park?" Dean asked with enthusiasm. Sam's evil smile just grew wider and wider as he looked at his brother.

"Dean, I don't want to go to the park any more" he said. Dean's expression turned from happy to absolutely furious as Sam said.

"Dean, I want to play Hang Man."

The End

Hehe, tell me if you liked it or not. What you just read is what my little sister did to me once so I felt like writing it down in a Sam and Dean version. Hehe, hope you liked it.
