I decided to do this today, on 12/18/2017. Please review and let me know what you think of it, and please

feel free to correct me about anything.

Prologue

"Thousands of years ago, there was a place where our people resided. They knew peace, and plenty. For they were

guarded by Hylia, the Goddess who had created them. They praised her night and day, but the days of plenty were not

to last. The Demon Tribe, led by their evil King, waged war on Hylia, determined to claim the land. In the battle that

ensued, Hylia took a piece of the earth, and cast it skywards. As our people watched, she cast a seal on the Demon

King, sealing him into a part of the grounds where her temple slept. The Demons fled, and the Goddess vanished, and

has not been seen since. It is rumored that the Gods of old created a power that could grant wishes, but it has never

been confirmed. The story of Her Grace continues to this day." The Instructer faced his class, and was not surprised to

find only two students were paying attention. The others had fallen asleep. One of them was the daughter of the

Headmaster of the Knights' Academy. The other was a young boy, of an unknown bloodline, who lived with the girl and

her father. The boy raised his hand. The Instructer smiled. "Yes, Link?" The boy stood up. "Doesn't the legend speak of

a sword with the power to kill Demons?" The Instructer chuckled. "Ah, yes. Thank you for reminding me, Link.

Unfortunate that none of the other students pay attention to that detail." The girl blushed. The Instructer picked up a

small bell, then nodded to Link and the girl. As he hoped, they covered their ears. He rang the bell, waking the other

students, and they all seemed embarrassed. "Now, Groose, what was the name of the Demon King?" Groose, a tall boy,

stood up. "Um..." The Instructer looked at him sternly. "That's what I thought." He faced Link and the girl. "Link, Zelda,

you two are dismissed, and I expect a paper on the tale of the Goddess as your homework assignment." The two

nodded, and left. The Instructer faced the others. "As for all of you, you will have to repeat the lesson, again. Pay

attention this time."

(Cut to Link and Zelda)

Zelda sighed. "I need to remember that sword detail." Link faced her. "Don't feel too bad. You do stay awake, after all."

Zelda smirked. "That's true." They laughed. Then, they heard a whoosh, and saw something flying towards them. Both

were too frightened to move. A large, red bird swooped down, and landed gracefully. It slowly approached Link. It

looked him in the eyes, as if to say, 'Hello. I have long awaited this meeting.' Link gently stroked its beak. "Ah, a

Crimson Loftwing." The two faced Headmaster Gaepora. "A rarity in these times. You are lucky to have found one,

Link." The boy rubbed his head sheepishly. The Headmaster chuckled at him. "Go on home, you two. I will be home for

supper." The two children nodded, and went on their way.

A/N

I'm sorry, but I had to come up with how Link finds his Loftwing, okay? Review. That means you, Menatron.
