The gun in Holmes's hand was completely still as he held it out in front of him pointing towards the man in the black suit. If he pulled the trigger, the world's only consultant criminal would die, never to commit a crime again. But that would ensure the deaths of him and his lover John Watson, as indicated by the array of lasers shivering on their clothes as they stood motionless beside the pool. The silence was unbearable.
-Somewhere near Raxacoricaphalapatorious-

The grating on the floor was rattling with the extent of the violence of the engines of the ship, a young man's voice could be heard, and British English, "YOU'RE A PHONE BOX, MAKE THE BLOODY CALL" he shouted as he lurched across the room. "Hold this!" said he, throwing the telephone to a redheaded girl, and with both hands pulling a lever so hard it seemed as if his arms would pop out of their sockets. The sudden stillness of the ship surprised him, and after a second Amy hurled the phone back to him where he glanced at a post-it note and dialled a number. He held it hard against his ear.

Watson blinked when the intensity of the silence filling the space was broken by a sound, tinny, yet recognisable. Holmes looked baffled yet still attempting to keep an air of confidence and determination about him. Moriarty pulled a mobile telephone out of his back pocket staring in dismay at the device emitting a ringtone of 'Stayin Alive' by the Bee Gees.

"Do you mind if I take this" he uttered then turned around and held the phone to his head.

"Jim," said the doctor. "I'd like a word."

John Watson and Sherlock Holmes stood in utter confusion as Moriarty listened intently to the voice on the other end of the line.

"Are you lying to me?" He questioned.
"I don't lie"
"Tell me the truth-and if you are lying to me, I will find you, and I will skin you", Moriarty threatened, his hand gestures quite demonstrating his anger. He began to move out of the room after turning and checking on his two friends. The voice on his phone then whispered,

"No you won't." as Jim Moriarty swung open the doors to the pool and stepped straight into the TARDIS. The doctor put the phone gently down next to him, and smiled at the dark-haired Irishman. Amy Pond then said in a high-pitched voice,

"What is all this about?!" Moriarty glared at The Doctor with similar emotion.
"The world's greatest ever detective is about to die whilst solving a case. What more can we do, but save Sherlock Holmes?"
