A Visit To A Boy's Relatives

Chapter 1 - A plane trip

Tomoeda, Japan

Kinomoto Residence

"Tomoyo-chan, did you get a plane ticket from Eriol-kun?"

A thirteen-year-old girl, with auburn hair just above her shoulders, sat on her bed in her room. She was talking to her best friend on the phone about a little trip a friend had offered to take them and nearly everyone else on.

"Yeah, did you, Sakura?" asked an obviously excited Tomoyo.

"Yep. Onii-chan and Yukito-san are going, too!"

"Great! Hey, maybe Li-kun'll go." Tomoyo said, slyly bringing up the subject.

Sakura thought deeply about it. 'Why would he come? I can see that he doesn't like Eriol-kun much?' Her thoughts were broken when her Onii-chan called her.

"KAIJUU!!! GET YOUR THINGS READY!!! WE'RE LEAVING FIRST THING TOMORROW!!!"

"O.K! Well, bye Tomoyo. I haven't packed yet so I have to now. Bye!"

"Alright, Sakura. See ya, tomorrow!!!"

With that, both girls hung up. Sakura got right to packing after with one thought in her mind 'I wonder where we're going? Eriol-kun didn't say, but he did say that we'd go and visit his relatives.'

San Diego, California

Eriol's Relative's Residence

"Your cousin Eriol has plans to visit us." Informed a middle-aged man with black hair and light brown eyes framed by silver-rimmed glasses.

"WOW! Cousin Eriol's really coming back?!" yelled a little 8-year-old boy with the same black hair, but slightly spiked with a golden color for his bangs and the same color of eyes.

"You're joking! I can't believe that idiot even thought of coming back!" Shouted an irritated 13-year-old girl with black hair down to just above her elbows with a bit of red at the tips done in a high ponytail and dark, nearly black, ruby eyes.

"Calm down, now, dear." Said a middle-aged woman with the same eyes and hair (except her hair was done in a stylish bun) as her angered daughter.

"But, Mother, wh-"

"Ask your father."

The girl turned to the man who was indeed her father.

"Father." She started with a dangerous tone.

Her father gulped. He knew of his daughter's hatred for her cousin.

"Don't look, son." The woman told her other child.

The boy kept staring though until his mother put her hands over his eyes and ears so that he didn't see or hear his father and sister fighting (literally).

His father was blocking while his sister was, well, really about to kill her own father.

Next Day

Tomoeda Airport

"Hi Sakura-chan!"

"Hello Sakura-san."

"Um. Hi."

Came three greetings from three of Sakura's friends: Tomoyo; Eriol; and Syaoran (He still hasn't told Sakura about his feelings for her yet).

Tomoyo had 5 suitcases while everyone else had 1 or 2. Sakura sweat dropped when she saw all of Tomoyo's things. 'They have fabric and all my video camera stuff in 'em.' She had told her before they all boarded the plane.

Plane to San Diego, California

An hour later.

Sakura was fast asleep and so was Tomoyo. Touya and Syaoran was having an argument about pretty much nothing, but still catching people's stares. Yukito was naturally munching on his snack that he brought and he kept on asking any flight attendant that past for some more food. While Eriol put a little sleep spell on Nakuru so she wouldn't go crazy on Touya.

San Diego Airport

After the flight

8:00 pm.

Soon all the passengers got off the plane from Tomoeda, Japan. A little boy, about the age of 8, yelled when he had spotted a familiar figure.

"Daddy, Mommy, Sis', there's Cousin Eriol and his friends!"
