Don't Ever Mess With A Drama queen
I'm sorry for the delay people. But I have decided to stick to humor for a while. Too many sad, sad incidents are happening in my life. Which include examinations as well. Yeah, another thing...I will continue Trauma, just not at the moment. So this fic is just an exercise to fix my writer's block. Oh well enjoy. Oh and the title has nothing to do with me.
Don't Ever Mess With A Drama queen
Prologue
My vision returned in tiny dots. It was still glazed over. There was a plastic mask over my nose and mouth, pushing air into my lungs. The sheets felt wet beneath me and my hair and clothes were plastered to my skin. Memories of tipping over the torpedo tube and into the water returned. I grabbed my throat at the memory of something strangling it. Nothing but smooth skin.
Nothing. There was nothing choking me.
Blinking a few times my vision cleared and I could see people in some sort of medical uniform. Their voices were all garbled. I couldn't make out what they were saying. A man popped his head into my line of sight, I panicked. But something held my head in place and hands held my shoulders down. I rolled my eyes to the other side and saw the nurses saying something to me. A hand on my cheek brought my eyes back to the man and he flashed a light in my eyes.
I whined and tried to swat the torch away. He clicked it off and I looked around in the small space. I was in an ambulance. This struck me as odd cause I'm pretty sure we had been in the middle of nowhere when I had nearly been dragged to the bottom of the ocean.
And even if the guys had managed to drag me out, I wouldn't have been out for so long. Would I?
How fucking embarrassing. If there was one thing I was good at other than offing people, it was swimming. And I'd nearly drowned. That bitch Eda would never let me live this down.
It started getting dark again. My vision, I mean. The edges of it going black. That cocksucker had stuffed a syringe up her arm. I was almost out when I saw it. Right outside the glass window on the door. It was a sign. Not a sign, sign. It was a road sign. A map. Like a layout. And I felt panic grab onto the fringes of my conciousness that was slipping fast.
Central Park.
My mouth opened a few times, nothing came out. Finally a strangled wet noise, barely decipherable reached my ears. My own.
''Where the fuck am I?'' my vision went black but I heard his voice loud and clear.
''New York city, ma'am.''
And I knew then, this was either a nightmare...
...Or I was fucked.
This is it for now. I will update soon (hopefully) don't forget to review!
