Story of Dan Mindflame: Fusions' First Strike

A FusionFall Fan Fiction

Chapter 1: The Beginning

Now was the time. I have waited forever for this. I have prepared the best I could. A new episode of my favorite show was on.

Thunder rolled outside. Lightning struck the house, setting the chimney on fire. The debris fell on the television. It also destroyed much more.

I thought to myself. My older twin brothers will be home with their girlfriends soon. I'll blame them. I mean, I'm nine. Arthur and Carter always get in trouble for everything, why not this, too. Aunt Terry won't be home anytime soon.

I thought too soon. Obviously, Aunt Terry walked in. "What did you do?" she yelled.

"Carter and Arthur went out while they were grounded.

When Arthur and Carter got back, Aunt Terry was so mad, she forgot about my punishment. Victory!

Later that night the dining room phone started ringing. The person on there had a raspy voice. "Write this down," he said.

I ended up writing down: .eliva mih tnaw uoy fi retsam ym taeB .rehtaf ruoy evah I.

I have no idea what that means. I shoved the napkin I wrote it on in a draw in what was left of my room.

The house was eventually fixed. Around that time, I learned my friend was going to take a plane to go to a rainforest. He told me, if I'm quite, I can sneak on and go with him.

I walked nine miles to the airport. I found the plane and snuck onto it. I went on the stairs that allowed maintenance people to check the wing. From there, I took a window. Then I snuck into one of the luggage areas up top. I eventually fell asleep.

The sound of an alarm woke me up. It didn't feel like the plane was moving anymore. I got out of the luggage area. I was surrounded with an empty desert. The emergency hatch was open and all the parachutes were gone. The windows were cracked and a wing wasn't there. I took a step to the door. The plane cracked in half, putting me in a split.

When I got out, I realized I had gotten on the wrong plane. It was a lose or lose situation. Apparently, the plane was heading for the desert.

In the aftenoon, it was hot. I searched the bags for water. They all had a big supply. I realized I survived from the soft bags around me.

In the night, it was freezing. I searched for a coat. Nothing. I slept through the cold.

The next morning, I searched the area, keeping the plane in sight. I started getting hungry. That's when I saw it. I had no idea what it was, but it didn't look human friendly.
