A/N: This is my first story written, so ENJOY.
An old man walked up behind me. Or should I say THE old man. He wasn't really old. It's just what people called him. Of course he loved his name. This way no one could guess how old he was. "Keeps them in suspense," he would say.
"Follow me" he said.
He led me to a submarine that was half submerged, and a hatch was open on the top. He led me into it and I gasped. It looked just like a R.V. As soon as I sat down on one of the many couches, the old man revved the sub and we were off.
Fifteen minutes later we arrived at what could have been Atlantis. There was a large tinted dome. I couldn't see much inside but I did see tall trees. Taller than anything and everything you could imagine. Also there were huge piles of hay like twenty feet tall.
"This is where you'll be training," the old man said.
"Training for what?" I asked.
"You're a Wiz-Anger."
"I'm a what?"
"You're a Wiz-Anger."
"A what?"
"Someone who's a Ranger and a Wizard."
A large golden something that looked (and acted) like a garage door opened. The sub's sides unfolded out to form wings and then shot into the dome. It landed on a landing strip that looked too small for it to fit. He opened the door on the sub and said 'Come on let's go.'
He led me to a lean-to. He then opened a triangular flap and beckoned me inside. Inside I saw a small re-curve bow and a longbow.
"Wait, something's missing," I thought, "oh, of course his NAME."
"HEY!" I yelled.
"WHAT," he bellowed back.
"Oh, sorry," I said in a said voice.
"Well?"
"I've been thinking…"
"Always a dangerous past time"
"What's your name?"
"Oh my gosh, jeez, why, why, why, oh sorry it's Halt"
Halt handed me three items, a double knife scabbard (filled, of course), a wand (oh joy), and of course the re-curve bow.
"You will be training with these," Halt said.
Then all of a sudden there was a mighty flash and a man with a black cloak and a white snake-like face appeared out of nowhere. "Avada Kadavera," he screamed in a high pitched girly voice. A flash of green shot out of his wand and I felt a searing pain in my head. "WHAT?" he bellowed, "You're supposed to be dead!" "Avada Kadavera," he screamed over and over again, and the pain grew less and less painful.
Finally the pain stopped and two knives and three arrows passed me in the space of a second. A shield appeared in front of the strange man and the two knives and three arrows went straight into the ground. Then the man disappeared.
"What?"Halt said.
"Where'd he go?"I asked no one in particular.
