Disclaimer: I don't own Hikaru no Go. It's not fair!!!

Warnings: A little shounen ai. (But that never hurt anyone, right?)

I wanted to write a story about Isumi and Waya involving food. Sushi was the obvious choice. Or maybe I was just hungry…

Waya no sushi

"Sushi?"  Isumi asked skeptically. "YOU are going to make sushi?"

"Yes, I AM going to make sushi. You don't have to sound so shocked, I'm quite resourceful in kitchen, you know."  Waya answered in a snippy tone.

"I don't think pouring hot water into an instant ramen cup counts." Isumi said sneering.

"Those ramen cups can be tricky!" The red haired boy was loosing his temper.

When Waya asked Isumi to go to shopping with him earlier that day, he mentioned something about making dinner, but had forgotten to include the details until they reached the supermarket.

The older boy grabbed a shopping basket with one hand and Waya's arm with the other, pulling him into the store.

"Alright Waya-sensei, let's buy what you need." A soft giggle escaped Isumi's lips.

Waya didn't like Isumi's condescending tone, it make him feel like a little kid, when obviously he was an adult. He lived by himself for crying out loud! He pulled his arm away from Isumi and started walking or rather stomping ahead of him.

"Sure, go ahead and laugh now, but when the sushi is finished, you'll beg me to let you eat it." Waya turned around and stuck his tongue at Isumi. "I'll show you who's gonna have the last laugh!" And with that he turned on his heels and made his way into one of the aisles.

Isumi just stood there and sighed. He couldn't help but tease Waya. His feelings for him were getting stronger everyday, and lately it seemed that teasing him was the only way he could deal with those emotions. The dark haired young man was still coming to terms with the fact that he loved Waya. If only I had the courage to tell him. But that was out of the question. Waya couldn't possibly return his feelings. We are both guys. If I say anything, all that'll do is ruin the friendship that we have.

Isumi's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when a bag of rice came flying towards him. He barely had time to react, and managed to catch the bag of rice hit his face.

"Nice catch!" Waya seemed to have appeared out of nowhere in front of Isumi. "I need to get some rice vinegar now. Just follow me."

"Oh, okay."

"What's the matter Isumi? You're spacing out." Waya started walking down the next aisle. He was looking into the shelves and talking to himself.

Isumi slowly followed him. "God, you know I love him." He whispered. "But please don't let him poison me!"

To be continued…?
