Oh, what a night it was

If the young detective could have only known

It was a cold clammy night

Slight rainfall

With the cascading lights of the city lighting up his silhouette

He paced through the streets looking for his prize

A young doll by the name of Adelaide

She waited with anticipation and uncertainty

She had never been with a man before

The young detective approached

A record of smooth relaxing jazz filling the room

Along with the slight smell of cigarette smoke

She pushed the tip of her decaying cigarette into the crystal ashtray

It was starting to brown in the center from years of burns

They shyly walked towards one another

Saying hello quietly

She put her arms on his back, his on her waist

They slowly swayed around the room listening to the jazz keeping them company

They locked eyes as they swayed and stood and stared

They forgot their surroundings

All too inclined to push out the world and spend this moment together forever

They slowly swayed towards the nearby couch

They approached with caution

Slowly and carefully measuring each of their steps

He not wanting to step on her toes

She not wanted to wrinkle her dress when she laid down

Slowly they undressed one another while tenderly kissing each other's necks with their eyes closed

They worked slowly, they had all the night to pass

Sliding underneath her dress the man felt the woman wet with anticipation

The woman slowly unbuckled the man's belt making sure to not go too fast

Any sudden movements could ruin the delicacy of the moment

Thus, losing it for the rest of the night and not having anything but the company of old cigarettes and distant sounds of saxophone, bass and piano

She slid her hand underneath his pants

Slowly rubbing the muscle that continued to grow

They were ready and no more playing would do

They stripped each other bare for the world to see

Without a care in a world they embraced each other

Overjoyed to have found someone to spend the night with

They were happy, there wasn't another word to describe it

They made love on the couch with their eyes closed favoring every moment

They were in no rush

The sounds of the saxophone carried across the room

They continued for quite so time each enjoying each other's company

They moaned with delight

They breathed heavy

All feelings of anticipation and fright were gone

It was right

She let everything go, shaking throughout her entire body

She moaned load and long with lots of meaning behind it

She felt high on a cloud with joy and nothing else filling her mind

She would remember this moment for the rest of her life

The detective felt her squeezing him tightly

He was ready to release his stresses and cares

His body heaved with his thrusts and he groaned as he emptied himself into her

They both were on top of the world

He slowed down and felt each thrust into the woman

Each moment was pure delight

It would be a crime to stop

Slowly they smiled and laughed to each other

A small quiet laugh

Nothing mean, pure happiness in a sound

He reposed himself and laid back on the couch

The woman climbed on top of the man resting her weight on his strong torso and legs

They quietly breathed coming down off the climax

Slowly they closed their eyes without saying a word and drifted off to a faraway place

To their thoughts and dreams

But one of those dreams had come true tonight
