A/N- So this is my sequel to A Chance Encounter. If you bothered to read the summery, you know when and where this takes place. Obviously in Four/Tobias' POV, hope I didn't disappoint, enjoy!

I don't own Divergent.

"Who do you think will be first jumper?" Zeke asks me as we stand around the net that the newest transfers will be landing on any moment now.

I shrug. "Dauntless-born probably; they know this place inside and out. If Max makes the transfers go first though..." I shift my head from side to side thinking about the answer. "Then probably the Erudite transfers. They're smart enough to know we aren't just going to kill them off. Yet." I add earning a chuckle from Zeke.

"Don't be too hard on the transfers, Four." He says as the first jumper goes up to the edge.

They're so high up that it is impossible to tell anything about them other than they're either a girl, or a guy in desperate need of a haircut. Either way, it doesn't look like they're afraid of heights.

"Here we go." Shauna mutters somewhere off to my right just as the girl jumps.

She comes down and lands with a thump on the net and I stick my hand out to her just like everyone else around me. She's wearing Abnegation grey and is fairly small with long blonde hair and greyish-blue eyes. Eyes I've seen before.

I'm taken back to that day. That day in the streets of Abnegation when I dropped those eggs. That day where a small blonde girl with the same blue eyes as the one who just fell from the sky gave me hers and saved me from that monster I was forced to call my father. That day when I felt so jealous of a girl I didn't know, but she was selfless enough as to give me something of hers that she thought was so meaningless but meant the world to me. Beatrice. That's what she said her name was.

Back to the present, she grabs my hand out of all the ones outstretched to her. She rolls off and almost face-plants but I catch her and put her back upright. "Thank you." She says to me.

Why would she transfer? Did she not think she was selfless enough? Because if she did, I'd love to remind her of that day and finally tell someone about my dad and tell her what she did for me. I can't though. No one knows me as Tobias; I'm just Four, The Dauntless Prodigy. No one can know about Marcus.

"Can't believe it." Lauren's voice comes out from the darkness and she smirks at Beatrice. "A Stiff, the first to jump? Unheard of."

That rubs me the wrong way. Beatrice saved me, standing up to Lauren for her seems so tiny compared to what she did, but it's the best I can manage at the moment. "There's a reason why she left them Lauren." I turn to Beatrice to ask the question we always do. "What's your name?"

"Um..." She thinks about it for a minute. Maybe, one day, I could tell her. Tell her all about the horrors I had to endure. Tell her how she helped me. Maybe she will be my one reason to stay in this hellhole.

"Think about it," I tell her. I feel myself smiling a little. "You don't get to pick again."

"Tris." She says with finality. Tris. I like it; it suits her. Tough, yet it still holds heritage to her old name and life.

"Tris." Lauren says grinning before turning to me. "Make the announcement Four."

I turn and look over my shoulder to all the Dauntless members waiting here. "First jumper- Tris!"

Everyone starts cheering and celebrating just as another girl falls onto the net screaming. The cheers turn to laughter, but it makes them cheer more.

I place my hand on Tris' back. "Welcome to Dauntless." The girl I've been looking for the past eleven years finally makes another appearance and, this time, I won't let her disappear.

A/N- So what did you guys think? I'd LOVE your feedback on this! I'm resetting the poll on my page so that I can get a new set of votes, so please, VOTE! LOVE YA, BYE-BYE!
