Author's Notes: I don't own Noir, however, this poem is mine so you may not
steal it! Thank you.
This is a Kirika poem, and is inspired by a passage in John Milton's
"Paradise Lost", which describes the Lucifer as a black winged angel. I
always pictured Kirika with wings, especially since I once saw the picture
of her standing against the red sky with airbrushed wings on her shoulders.
The different stanzas describe the different sides of her, the child, the
sinner, the saint, the demon and the young wanderer she is. She is a woman
of many faces, and I hoped to capture this in the poem below.

"And Lucifer stood at the gate of hell, his black wings giving the illusion
of divinity."
~John Milton, Paradise Lost

She, the Angel with Black Wings

She, the angel with black wings
Falling lightly from the sky
Touching down with ease and grace
Upon this Earth so stained with sin
She, the maiden of lost souls
Lures the sinners to their graves
Light and dark play on her face
As she walks in shadow among the damned
She, the savior of wretched
Cleansing souls with blood and fear
As she sins she does for us
To save our souls from pain and dread
She, the demon of our deaths
Killing without so much a thought
Cold of gaze and lost of remorse
Her duty begets her memory and mind
She, the lost of heart and soul
Searching shadows of the streets
To find the one she used to be
The one she wants, but fears and hates
She, the lost among the damned
Whose broken wings hang at her sides
From heaven sent she fell to us
A gift and curse in one slight form
She, the angel with black wings
Falling silent to the sky
Rising up to heaven above
Away from us so stained with sin
