Jade and Cat were talking and it was clear Cat was upset. Robbie came over.

"Cat," he asked, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Cat said, "I'm fine"

"The loser patrol was picking on her," Jade said putting a hand on Cat's shoulder.

The routine was getting old. It was really upsetting Cat and it was upsetting Jade to see how upset Cat was.

"I'm so sick of being a loser," Cat said, "When I was first diagnosed with my brain tumor I was eight-years old. I was referred to as 'the freak' and I was left out of everything. I get that I'm left out of the pizza party because I'm still a loser but it makes me feel like I'm a freak again. It's difficult being a freak"

Tear filled Cat's eyes as she said that.

Jade started to talk.

"I got this," Robbie said sitting down next to Cat.

Gently he cupped her chin to raise her eyes so she would look at him.

"Cat," he said, "Do you know what I see when I look at you?"

"Yeah," she said, "A loser because that's what I am"

"It is not," Jade said, "That stupid system doesn't define who you are"

"When I look at you," Robbie said, "I see the most beautiful girl in the world. You are beautiful from the inside out. I see the very definition of winner. You fight battles every day that other people wouldn't have the strength to fight. You are always smiling and happy even after having a bad day."

"I don't like bad days," Cat said

"Nobody does," Jade replied, "Do you think I like having bad days?"

"No," Cat said, "I can see it clearly that you don't"

"But Jade doesn't have a positive attitude after having a bad day," Robbie said, "You do. You are not a loser and you are not a freak. You're the girl that I love."

Cat's demeanor changed a little as she cheered up slightly.

"KK," she said

"One more thing," he said taking off her old necklace and replacing it was a new one, "This is for you"

She squealed. The necklace he put on her was one she had seen and admired. She couldn't believe he got it for her.

"Yay," she said, "It's beautiful Robbie"

"No. You're beautiful"

Cat was making herself red velvet cupcakes when a knock on her door was heard. She went to open the door. All of her friends were there with pizza boxes. She giggled.

"What are you guys doing here," Cat asked, "You guys are allowed to go to the party. I'm the only-"

"Do NOT call yourself a loser," Jade warned, "and we are at the party. We just changed it to your house"

"You did," she exclaimed

"I sure as hell am not going to any party where my sister isn't welcomed," Jade replied, "and you and I may not be related but you sure as hell are my sister. You've ALWAYS been there for me. If it weren't for you I would have lost it all."

"Yeah that's all great and everything," Beck said, "But could we come in. The pizza box is getting kind of heavy."

Cat laughed and let them in.
