I'll be the first to say that I'm not very good at poetry, but I saw The Phantom of the Opera yesterday and it really spoke to me because music is basically my life. So no flames please, but constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks!
A mask that masks just half a soul
A rose of deepest blood
The darkest night,
Forbidden embrace
Of one eternal love
Find the darkness inside you
Let go of the light
Feel the crowd all around you
In unspeakable night
Two souls in endless time
A mask of purest white
Light the candles of passion
Give yourself to the night
One love for one lifetime
One song and one chance
One moment forever
A rose and a mask
Find the darkness inside you
Let go of the light
Feel the crowd all around you
In unspeakable night
Two souls in endless time
A mask of purest white
Light the candles of passion
Give yourself to the night
A mask that masks just half a soul
A rose of deepest blood...
Find the darkness inside you
Give yourself to the night
I'm really not too much of a poet, but I try. Reviews are very much appreciated!
