This story is based on a scene from Saving Mr. Banks. Kristoff might be a little ooc with the way he talks? I certainly hope not. I just really wanted to use this scene! It's one of my favorites!

Everyone at the palace was busy on the humid summer day and Liesl hated it. It was bad enough that it was too hot to go outside but now everyone was too busy to play with her. And for a five year old princess like Liesl it was naturally the end of the world.

Aunt Elsa had queenly meetings to attend and couldn't, no matter how badly she said she wanted to, build a snowman with her.

Mama had to go with Aunt Elsa to the meetings, Liesl decided that her Mama hated them more than Aunt Elsa did.

It was too hot to visit Sven and Olaf in the stables.

Gerda and Kai were too busy running around the castle frantically and barely even noticed that the little princess had been talking to them.

So after Liesl had double checked with everyone that they were too busy to play she begrudgingly stomped up to her room as a last resort.

On her way to her room she passed the bathroom which was full of light and seemed rather loud, which was good because Liesl liked light and she liked loud things. She rushed into the bathroom without knocking and smiled when she saw her dad standing in front of a mirror, wearing a pair gray trouser and a white shirt covered in stains that he always wore when they played outside.

"Hello Daddy!" Little Liesl squeaked with excitement. She crawled onto a nearby stool and rested her chin in her hands.

"Hello, Sweet Pea." Kristoff responded, continuing to stare at the mirror and finally picked up a blade and began shaving his face. Liesl stared in awe at the mini sword that her father was using to give his face a hair cut. The young princess quickly forgot about asking if her daddy wanted to play and instead stared.

"Why do you do that?" Liesl asked with her head cocked to the side, still watching the blade move across her fathers face with deep concentration. Kristoff smiled and looked down at his daughter from the corner of his eye.

"For you, Liesl!" Kristoff flicked the blade in the air as if it were a sword and he were fighting pirates. When he brought it back to his jaw he made a soft "Swish" noise.

"Which kind of kisses do you prefer, my Little Liesl?" He once again flicked the blade before placing it to his skin and making a "Swoosh" noise.

"Scratchy ones or silky ones?" He continued to shave as he looked down at his daughter from the corner of his eye. Her brow was furrowed and lips pursed in mock thought.

"Silky ones." She answered, face alight with pride in her answer. Kristoff nodded, sliding the blade across his jaw once more.

"There you go. A man has to shave, to save his daughters cheeks. Swish." Liesl beamed as she watched her father finish shaving, all just for her. "Swoosh." She murmured as he placed the blade in the cabinet.

Kristoff kneeled down on the bathroom floor in front of his daughter. He kissed her cheek an let his freshly shaven face rub against her cheek as he moved away. Liesl giggled and reached out for her fathers face. Rubbing her hands on his face she looked at her father with a toothy grin. "Swish." Liesl called out as she placed both hands on her fathers cheeks and kissed his forehead. Kristoff grinned from ear to ear and as he scooped up Liesl in his arms he shouted exuberantly "Swoosh!"

Liesl latched onto her fathers neck squealing with joy. "Swish!" She yelled again which was echoed by her fathers "Swoosh!" Liesl shrieked with laughter and turned to look at her fathers face. "Daddy can I watch you shave your cheeks for me everyday?" Kristoff chuckled and nodded. "Of course. Of course my Little Liesl. Anything for you."
