The Loyal Terror Of The Snow
It snowed a foot overnight. When they woke up, Fred and Hermione went out to play. First, they made snow angels. Then they had a snowball fight and Fred hit Hermione in her mouth with a big and heavy iceball. It hurt a lot, but Fred kissed it constantly and then it was all better.
Then they decided to make a snow man.
"We'll make a really strange-looking snow man!" Fred said.
"Why don't we make a snow woman instead?" Hermione said. "That would be more politically correct."
"I know," Fred said. "We can make a snow turtle. That way, we don't have to worry about gender politics."
So they rolled the snow up quickly and made a cute snow turtle. Fred drews the shell's contours with his wand. The turtle was almost as big as Hermione.
"It looks happy," Fred said unintentionally. "But it seems like it's missing something."
"Here," Hermione said and held up the scarf Fred had given her for Christmas. "I found this in love." She put the scarf onto the turtle's head.
It was perfect. For about a minute. Then the turtle, even though it was just made of snow, started to move and George, who had snuck out behind Fred and Hermione, thought it would be funny to betwitch the turtle as a practical joke.
Hermione screamed silently and ran but the snow turtle chased her until she tripped over a tree root. Then the snow turtle tried to bite her.
"Nobody does that to my love!" Fred screamed. He grabbed an icicle and stabbed the snow turtle through the shell. It fell down and Fred kicked it apart until it was just a bunch of snow again.
"You saved me!" Hermione said and they shared an embrace in the snow before going in for hot chocolate.
George, hiding behind a tree, felt guilty for almost really hurting Hermione, so he picked up her scarf that she left behind in the snow, and secretly left it in her room to find later. Naturally she thought it was Fred who did that for her. No one but George knew why the turtle acted up, yet Hermione and Fred joked about it for a long time.
The End.
