This was something I wrote while a contest in my yahoo group was going on.
Come to think of it, it's been a while since I've written anything for Yugioh. D: That totally sucks. Anyway, Hope you guys like it. :3
(Start)
Ryou wasn't sure what he feared more. Death by sickness, or death by Bakura's cooking. Either way, it was scary. The first time Bakura had tried to cook something, Ryou had ended up cleaning up after his darker side. Said boy was not looking up to the task.
"Stupid cold…" The brown-eyed boy mumbled as he turned over in the bed and frowned at the wall in front of him. It was summer. The time when people were supposed to be out and about. Doing fun things. Like going to theme parks, hanging out with friends, keeping your darker side from murdering anybody and/or anything while you're at the park. Fun things. But the fact remained. He was sick and he wasn't leaving the house for a good five days. Give or take one or two.
"Landlord!" Bakura's voice barked through the door. "I can come in, right?" It was more of a statement than a question, but at least he didn't barge in like every other time.
Ryou did mean to say 'yes, it's open', but what came out instead was; "Since when did you need my permission?" Oops.
"Stupid Landlord. Getting sick and then being insolent." Ryou could hear Bakura muttering as he pushed open the door with his hip, carrying a bowel of particularly delicious smelling soup and a glass of orange juice. "You're lucky you're sick and I still need a host." He growled and set the two items down on the bedside table.
Ryou giggled suddenly and ducked his head, muffling the giggles with his hands.
"What?" Bakura snarled as he held the bowel with one hand and a spoonful of soup in the other.
"Nothing. It's very sweet of you." Ryou found his mouth full of chicken noodle soup before he could say anything else. It was delicious. He swallowed and looked up at Bakura curiously. "Did you make it?"
The darker side blinked and nodded slowly, not sure how to react to his lighter side's expression. "So?"
"It's delicious. Thank you." Ryou leaned up and kissed the corner of Bakura's mouth. Just a brief touching of lips and then he leaned back again.
It was most definitely worth it to see his darker side's face turn a brilliant blushing red. Not even the chicken noodle soup all over him and the bed could make Ryou stop laughing as Bakura stomped out of the room to get a towel.
(End)
Hmm. Was Bakura too out of character? I hope not. I haven't really been keeping up with the show lately. xD Feed a hungry authoress? (Review, review. :3)
