Five things all members of SG1 have in their homes/quarters
1. Each member of SG1 had a team photo in their room. No two were the same but all of them were of SG1.
Daniel had photo of the first time they had all gone through the 'gate together as a team. It wasn't a particularly interesting photo, but it had a lot of memories attached to it.
Teal'c, being a warrior, had a picture of the team all in training. Janet had taken the photo for him, though she had thought it was a bit strange.
Sam was a little more sentimental. Her picture was of the whole team laughing and joking on a team night. They all had drinks in their hands and were all genuinely happy. It reminded her of why they did the things they did every day.
Jack's photo was of him and Sam in dress blues, with Daniel and Teal'c in formal wear, at some event or another. It was a typical photo for an upstanding officer, except that not one of the people in the photo was actually paying attention. They were all too busy smiling at something one of them had just said and it showed everyone that they weren't only a good team, but very good friends too.
2. Coffee was in high demand at the SGC. Whether it was for people who were just waking up, or for those who were trying not to fall asleep, there always had to be a large supply.
SG1 decided that, since it was in such high demand, they would hide a stash of instant coffee in each of their rooms, just in case. The base would frequently go into lock down and, depending on how long it had to stay in lock down, the coffee supply could start to run low.
By keeping a supply in their quarters, SG1 ensured they never ran out.
3. Surprisingly, everyone had a fishing rod in their quarters. They had appeared after a particularly long mission and Jack had thought they needed a little bit of cheering up.
His plan had worked. Everyone, including Teal'c, had at least smiled. And, in the process of cheering everyone up, he had even gotten everyone to agree to actually use the fishing rods at his cabin.
4. SG1 had been through a lot during their time at the SGC. Because of this they had all been told to see the psychologist. He had told them all to keep a diary. It was to help them vent rather than to help them remember things.
Some of the team mates used their diaries more than others, some didn't use theirs at all.
Jack, surprisingly, used his diary the most. He found it helped him to get rid of the memories he didn't want to carry about with him, and it gave him the chance to remember all of his favourite moments.
5. SG1 weren't allowed to go on holiday. Well, they could, but they would be on call constantly, and so they never seen much point in it.
They all had brochures in their quarters, though. Each member had brochures for different places. Some for warm places, some for interesting places, some allowing them to visit family, and some for just plain relaxing.
By having them in their quarters it meant that, if they did get the chance to go on holiday, they were already prepared.
