"Naruto, what are your thoughts?" Gaara asked.

Naruto looked a bit surprised. "About what?"

Gaara looked at him, and the topic became clear to him. "The war, huh? I don't know, I'm just hoping it will be the end of all of this. Bringing both happiness and grief is the nature of war, right?"

The Kazekage chuckled lightly, his friend had grown over the time they had not seen one another. Maybe it was the events he had gotten through. Gaara smiled a little bit, saying, "Yes, that's true. I guess you've grown a lot."

Naruto smiled widely. "You bet! Besides, just because you're a higher rank than me, doesn't mean I'll let you take all of the glory for this war!"

"It's all yours," Gaara replied truthfully.

"Now, let's relax for a bit. You deserve a break from your life for a while. Let's see if you can hold your liquor!" the blond put his arm around his friend, walking toward the Hokage's building.

Gaara should enjoy his Konoha visits anyway. "Tsunade-sama might kill you for this."

Naruto stopped dead in his tracks, saying, "See ya, Gaara."

With that, he was off, the red head smiled, things in this village were never normal. Maybe he would give someone a visit tonight. It was the last night before the war began.

A/N: I'll leave whoever he visits up to your mind, and whatever he does, too. And I don't know why I chose this title, anyway. It's all I could think of, really. Really, really short, it could barely be considered a story, maybe a drabble. And again, light humor?
