A/N : Apologies for the tragic-ness of this, but it is still Spuffy. The idea for this and half the actual poem came to me in a flash, the rest I had to work on a little while..about ten minutes or so, which is a long time for me to take to write a poem, lol. I would say, hope you enjoy this, but enjoy isn't really the correct word...please read and review anyway!

Dearly Departed
So many years he's watched her grow
Old, but never weak til now
And soon her life's light shines it's last
His solution, disallowed
For naturally she wants to go
And leave it all behind her
She tells him not to cry those tears
Soon, in heaven, he'll find her
She's not as weak as she appears
Not half as broken as she seems
For when he looks behind her eyes
Beauty and power still gleams
But her body, it has failed her now
And the longing in her heart
Its time for her to leave this plane
Her spirit soon to depart
He has not aged a single day
He knows she hates that she did
She assures him he was worth it
She didn't miss sun or kids
Her cannot let her go alone
So they will end together
Like Romeo and Juliet
In Shakespeare's tragic legend
Her breaths grow low and shallow
And he knows the end is near
And as her great heart beats its last
He sheds a single tear
Looking upon her one last time
Fingers round wood, tightly curled
On his final unneeded breath
He whispers, 'Goodnight, sweet girl'
