"where is he?!" Emma was screaming at at an man who seemed to be guarding a door. Dressed in black coat, and a face that was unhuman like. The heroes were all there by Emma's side. The one time they would return the favor by bringing the saviours happy ending back.
"I told you, I cannot allow you to walk in there. Hades wouldn't like it" The little man was eyeing them catiously. He knew what was at stake, Hook could never leave this place.
"I won't ask again!" Emma's hand was ringed around his neck, and he let out a choking sound.
"Emma!" Snow yelled from behind her. Angry that her mother was right, she let go of the mans neck. He coughed violently – she took the opportunity to run past him, as the others did as well. Emma didn't look back for a second, her eyes running wild searching for one thing only.
"Emma" she heard someone say with such a relief in their voice, but also terrified. Their footsteps slowed down and she caught eye to eye with the man she loved.
"Killian" she said back, tears forming in her eyes. Her feet fastened and she found herself running towards the sound of his voice. She nearly jumped into him, knocking him out of balance slightly. Their arms were tight around each other and Emma let out a choked "I'm sorry, for everything." tears she was not even trying to hold back were streaming down her face, the face she had buried in the crook of his neck.
"Don't worry, love. It is I that has to apologize" His heart was breaking seeing Emma cry like this. All that he had done to her when he became the dark one. All the anger he held onto. All of it was gone, replaced only by the love he held for Emma. The one heart he vowed to protect from being hurt, yet he was the source of her pain.
For once in Killian's life he was speechless. His eyes formed tears mixed in with Emma's. Forcing her to look at him, he crushed his lips on hers. Lips locked in a passionate kiss that neiter wanted to break free from. Salty tears mingled in with the taste.
"You all came for me" Hook said, his forehead resting on hers.
"Did you doubt we would?" Emma said, her lips hinted at a slight smile.
"Given our history, do you blame me for being uncertain?" Killian said, remembering the last similar conversation they had. In all of this time, he still didn't believe his life was worth it. Again he was being proved wrong, and not only by Emma. All the heroes had risked their own lives to come down to the underworld, all to save him. But if there was one thing he was certain of, it was that their love was worth fighting for.
"Isn't this a happy reunion" a new voice could be heard from the side of them. Killian and Emma broke free from their embrace. The heroes all turned their face towards the source of the voice.
"Milah" Killian's voice addressed.
