Hey guys. Not much feedback on the fact that I'm putting MBF on hiatus :P but whatever, doesn't really matter to me anyways :] so I just whipped up a quick oneshot I thought of during history class, cuz honestly, I can't think of anything as boring as it (okay…maybe science too :P) Ah well, enjoy anyways :)

Disclaimer: I really wish I owned something, but I don't. And that makes me sad :P

"Hey, Princess?"

Courtney sighed. Her boyfriend should know by now how she absolutely loathed it when people interrupted her when she was reading.

"What, Duncan? Can't you see I'm busy?"

Duncan scoffed. "Yeah, busy not paying attention to me."

Courtney groaned and put down her book, finally looking back up at Duncan. "Ugh, fine. What?"

"You know what's fun?"

"What?"

"Kissing in the rain," he replied, staring at the TV.

Courtney let out a laugh and glanced at her boyfriend. "Kissing in the rain? Seriously?"

"Yeah! What, are you saying that we haven't done that before?"

"Duncan, you realize we got together in May? And, last time I checked, it's only July. And with a skull as thick as yours, I feel obliged to remind you that our anniversary is next week."

Duncan waved her comment off and said, "Yeah, Courtney, I know it's next week. I already bought your present. And what's so bad about kissing in the rain?"

"Uh, gee, I don't know: it's cold, you can get sick, and it's so cliché."

"C'mon, babe, live a little!"

"Whatever, Duncan. I gotta go; my brother's coming back from college today. I promised to have dinner with him. Bye!" Courtney said, kissing his lips really quick. Duncan stared and sighed, making Courtney feel instantly guilty. "I love you."

Duncan's expression immediately turned into a grin, and he replied, "Love you, too, Princess. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't have remembered when our anniversary was."

Courtney rolled her eyes and left, kissing Duncan one last time.

Four months later…

"Oh sorry, Court! I can't walk with you today! Me and Trent are meeting up with some friends downtown. Sorry," Gwen apologized, waving bye and meeting up with her boyfriend.

"Can't drive you either, Court. I'm so sorry! Geoff's taking me over to his house to study! But on the bright side, Duncan's gonna be with you. Oh, gotta go! Bye!" Bridgette bade farewell to her friend and to the safety of a car.

Courtney looked up at the sky and groaned.

Rain. She could already feel it coming down in little drops.

"Hi, Princess," a voice said from behind, snaking arms around her waist.

"Hey, Duncan," Courtney said, getting slightly grumpy from the rain. And by the time she got home, it was raining even harder, making her even more agitated.

And all of a sudden, the best idea came into her mind. She turned to Duncan, who was staring questioningly at her. Courtney smiled in return, grabbed his jacket, and pulled him close.

His lips collided with hers in a surprise kiss and he instantly responded. When they broke apart, they both had slightly dazed looks on their faces.

"Well you always said you wanted to kiss in the rain," Courtney said with Duncan's smirk on her face. She gave him one more peck on the lips before saying goodbye. "Oh and by the way, Duncan…"

"Yeah?"

"If I get sick, it's your fault. 'Kay, love you!"
