Another original Thomas story, this time it's "James's Comeback" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.
James had been bricked up in his shed for three weeks for causing a very nasty accident.
"Oh dear." thought James. "I am a very silly engine. When will Sir Topham Hatt let me out of my shed?"
Finally, Sir Topham Hatt arrived.
"I see you are sorry James." he said. "I hope you have learned your lesson, and understand that teasing others is not a very good thing to do."
"So can I be let out now?" asked James.
"As long as you be really useful!" said Sir Topham Hatt.
"Oh, thank you sir!"
The shed was soon unbricked, and James puffed off to get a nice wash-down.
When he arrived at the wash-down, Gordon and Percy were there.
Gordon was excited. He was going to take some VIP's to Alicia Bott's grand concert.
But Percy was still cross at James, and didn't say a word.
"I'm sorry Percy!" said James. "Sir Topham Hatt let me out, on the condition that I be really useful!"
Percy thought for a moment.
"Okay James. I forgive you." replied Percy. "Now, can you help me shunt some freight cars at the harbor?"
"Sure thing!" said James.
All through the day, James helped Percy shunt freight cars at the harbor.
When he arrived back at Knapford Station that night though, there was trouble. Gordon had broke down with the Express.
The passengers were very cross. They were demanding their money back, and telling Sir Topham Hatt what a bad railway it was.
"What are we going to do?" asked the stationmaster.
"We mind as well cancel the concert." said Sir Topham Hatt.
"I can help sir!" said James. "I was really useful all day with Percy, and I can be even more useful now!"
Sir Topham Hatt turned to James.
"Of course!" he said.
So James coupled up to the Express coaches, the passengers got in, and James set off to get the passengers to Alicia Botti's concert.
And he did. He got them there in record time.
The passengers thanked James, and Sir Topham Hatt promised James a new coat of red paint.
This made James feel very happy.
