I'm Kathryn's Pillow
Summary: Kathryn's pillow talks about his relationship with her and the other man in her life. Rating: PG-13 Setting: A few weeks after 'Resolutions' Notes: I don't own the charters or the names I just make them (and their things) do crazy things!! Pls. RR
I think my owner has fallen out of love with me. She doesn't call me "Mark" anymore, in fact she doesn't call me anything: no name, no...nothing, she just hugs me tightly and whispers to me, but I can't tell you what she says, it's a secret. I've been with my owner since she came aboard Voyager, two years ago. She started calling me "Mark" a few weeks after, but now she's stopped. Then one night, when she was asleep, she called me "Chakotay" so that's who I'm now. One night she didn't come to bed, she didn't come to her quarters, so I was alone. No soft auburn hair, with "baby-soft" skin on my cover. My owner is always tidy when she goes to bed, smells wonderful and wears silk; I really like her pink nightie. The next night she came to her quarters, the first time I saw her that day. It really cheered me up, as I missed her a lot. But someone else came in with her: a man I never saw before. He was tall, had short dark hair, dark eyes, bronze coloured skin, a wired tattoo on his left temple, and he looked dangerous. They both came into bedroom, kissing!!! I couldn't believe it, I thought she loved me. He put her down onto the bed, her head landing on me. I should have been happy her head was on me, but I wasn't, I wanted her to go. Then they were undressing each other. I heard her say "Chakotay" but she wasn't talking to me, she was talking to this stranger. I was heartbroken, how could she!!!
A week later and he still comes back to my owner, they make love for ages then when they wake his head would be on me or his pillow which now lives beside me (which I must thank for helping me get though this heartbreak) and my owner would be on top of him. She doesn't call me "Chakotay" anymore, but she calls him "Chakotay" instead, and all his stuff is in her quarters. Sometimes I get really upset and feel like ripping my insides out, because I'm no longer "Mark" or "Chakotay." I'm no-one, just a pillow. An unloved pillow without a name, or a loving owner.
