Out of the sixteen cats in the seldom used, hidden cat café, the dark-haired girl zeroed in on the small gray tom curled up on the dark green couch. He was smaller than the others and they seemed to be actively avoiding him. The pale-skinned girl moved to the couch and sat beside the kitten, she reached out to pet him, a smile forming on her face as he purred. The tom opened his big, yellow eyes and crawled into the girl's lap, purring. The girl kissed and pet the loveable tom before crawling closer to her face and licking her with his thin, rough, sandpaper tongue.
The girl was thrilled, she loved animals and hated humans with a passion, although the humans she hung around with now where enjoyable. The humans she hung around with where a brightly-dressed boy with dyed hair playing with a black kitten who batted at a feather toy with his dark gray paws, dark blue eyes intensely focused on his 'prey'. A boy with his brown hair shaved short with expensive tastes and a coffee on a nearby table as he pet a dark brown, white and black cat. An emo-ish boy with teased hair and muti-colored clip-ins dozing with a gray cat with black paws and splotches on his stomach. And, arguably the one she 'clicked' with the most, a quiet girl sitting in the corner as a long-haired white cat trilled at her feet before walking away.
The pretty white cat curled up on a bed with a black, white-flecked kitten, a black kitten with gray paws and a solid dark gray kitten. The dark-haired girl scratched the kitten, who she named Cuddles, behind the ear. He curled up on her lap, dozing as sunlight came thought a small, curtain-less window.
Eventually, the girl and her friends returned home and went to sleep. The girl thinking of Cuddles and how happy she was.
