DISCLAIMER: Love it, don't own it, except the poem, which could easily count as original work. Inspired, dudes, inspired.
C.C.C.- Lolz, I love this book, the author's brilliant, and it's an English essay that I didn't actually hate writing! Enjoy!
Written in either Cathy's (Older, much better version 'nods head' I'm not someone who thinks that Younger Catherine is brilliant…) POV, or Isabella's, a poem for the two of them, even if the only one that I really liked was Cathy. CATHYXHEATHCLIFF! XD Lolz, bit insane there, but hey! XD Enjoy, dudes and dudettes!
WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Flowers and roses dot a side,
Thorns and cuts dot another,
Which would you choose?
The one of calm, wistful love,
Innocence of hearts,
Lack of reality,
But forever, never stopping.
Or passionate, emotional love,
Angry souls,
The darkness of worlds,
Periods of hate, and beautiful love.
Of when men marry wives,
And take them away,
To somewhere better,
Nicer,
Purer.
Of when men bed women,
Leave them behind,
And return again,
Passionate,
But angry.
The pretty spring flowers,
Dotting the path,
Pretty, but nothing more,
No deep,
Rare beauties,
Just pretty,
Light flowers.
The gorgeous roses,
Dotting the path,
Thorns springing from everywhere,
Covering the hand that dares,
Blood, a resonating red,
Not light,
Simple and easy to touch,
The anger,
Emotion that fills,
Red hot,
Burning.
The women that fall for the good,
Men that take them,
For the women's passion,
But the men have none,
Just good, loving hearts.
Hearts that heal,
But the women can't forget.
The women that fall for bad,
Feel the passion of a man's soul,
Then the hate as he goes,
The women can't feel peace,
Nor settle for less than the passion,
The feelings of the man,
And therefore cannot move on.
Peaceful love and happiness,
Crude love and passion,
Which would you choose?
C.C.C- Not very good, eh? Well, I got it from walking home in the wet from the bus stop, so no killing, please. Oh, BTW, Word is kind of sexist. It recognises Dude, but not Dudettes! How bad is that?
