"Come with me and you'll see the world all before breakfast."
He gives her a chance. This tall awkward man with a bow tie fastened neatly onto his neck.
Something inside of her yells and screams, telling her it is wrong to go with strange men. Especially ones that just appear in the middle of the night but she has no where else to go and she figures that, even if he's going to kill or rape her, at least he seems like the kind to do it nicely. So she takes his hand. He whisks her away from the hard park bench where she set up her bed and to a dingy little phone booth. It is odd and out of place right at the edge of the parks pond but she pays no attention to it. Instead her mind races with all the possibility's that come with taking this mans hand. He could kill her, behind that grinning face could be the cold eyes of a murder and she would be none the wiser until he took her into that little booth.
of course he could also hold true to his promise but she can't imagine that. No man is possible of such a feat when all he holds at his disposal is a nice outfit and a old phone booth.
She is wrong. Of course she is wrong but unlike all the other times where she has been berated for being just that she is not met with a harsh fist against her cheek nor a broken bottle cutting into her skin. Instead she is greeted with florescent lights and a soft whirring noise as the door closes behind her. The man is running to the center of what is most definitely not a normal phone booth and pressing buttons. He grins at her as if expecting her to comment but she dose not. She takes her time in large machine (A TARDIS he calls it) caressing the solid metal. Absorbing the feeling of lightness and warmth emitting from such a odd place.
Once she finds the ability to speak she can only release a breathy 'wow'.
"I know, amazing isn't she." He, The Doctor, tells her. "But there's no time for dilly dally. I must keep to my promise and for that to happen we must be on our way. Now where to first? How about we take a look at Japan I heard their Cherry Blossoms are beautiful during the spring. Or we could..."
Over the rapid beating of her heart his words make little sense but that dose not seem to matter. In that moment she has a mad man in a little blue box that's willing to show her the entire world and more.
All before breakfast.
