OUR MEMORIES;

Prologue; our first meeting

It was a beautiful summer day. It was warm, but not too hot, and on such days the park was filled with kids, teenagers, women with children… Among all of them was a small boy, about seven years old, sitting on a bench. His hair was light blue colored and it's styled to the right, his eyes were blank blue and his skin was quite pale. Kuroko Tetsuya was his name.

The said boy was currently watching four kids, maybe older then himself, playing basketball: two-on-two. His attention caught the odd pair, one boy was really tall and he had slightly longer purple hair. The other boy seemed his height or maybe a little taller and he had messy red hair. But what really caught his attention were the boys' eyes, the right eye was red, while the left was either yellow or orange, Kuroko couldn't tell because of the sun. They were really good, in fact they won: 76 to 24.

Kuroko was really disappointed when they finished their game, he wanted to watch them play more. When the redhead passed him, without paying attention to him, just like everybody else, Kuroko lowered his head and decided to go home.

The next day Kuroko went back to park, hoping to see the boy again. Over the night he realized that he wanted to see the boy more, then rather see him play. Those heterochromatic eyes, Kuroko couldn't forget them. To his luck he was there again. Again with the purple haired boy, again playing basketball, again winning, again passing him like he didn't exist.

But, Kuroko didn't mind. He knew that because of his weak presence most people didn't notice him, so he was really surprised when the redhead talked to him.

"Do you play?"

He asked gesturing towards the ball in his hands, Kuroko was slightly shocked, his voice was just like he, beautiful. He talked calmly, but you could hear the strength behind his words.

"…No. I'm sorry."

In fact he wanted to play with the boy, but the didn't knew the rules, he didn't even knew how to play. The boy only nodded his head and went back to playing. When Kuroko came the next day, the redhead wasn't there. The following day the situation was the same. When the week passed Kuroko had to go home. On the way home they were passing the park and Kuroko stopped moving for a second. There in the distance Kuroko could make out the redhead, who was looking at the bench where he usually sat all the time, watching him.

For some reason Kuroko felt happy, he then continued walking with his small hand in his mother's and a small smile planted on his lips. They would meet again, he was sure of it. Maybe next time he would ask boy for his name. But one thing Kuroko would never forget was that beautiful summer day and those heterochromatic eyes.

author's note:

I totally love Akashi, and when I heard his voice in episode 8 I went crazy! He and Izaya Orihara have the same voice actor, can't wait to hear more of him. This is only prologue because of that it's really short, sorry! I promise the next chapter will be longer. Thank you for reading and please leave a review.
