"You can't just sit there all day, Draco."
Blaise had entered the common room, spotting the blonde laid out on one of the sofas when he made the remark. Draco waved a hand lazily.
"I've done it before, Blaise. Never underestimate my ability to idle."
Blaise grabbed the roll of parchment lying on the table and waved it towards Draco's face. "What if I need your help with something?"
Draco snorted and pushed the roll of parchment away. "Like you really need my help with anything, you wanker. You're just as talented and intelligent as I am. Note that you're not more talented and intelligent."
A chuckle passed Blaise's lips, "Consider me noted."
Draco shifted on the sofa and pivoted his head back to Blaise, "Are you just going to stand there and look pretty or did you really need something?"
Blaise shook his head and sighed lightly, "I have never been a pretty guy. Rugged handsomeness would have been prefered." He shrugged. "As for the second option, I didn't really need anything. I was going to the dormitory when I saw you lazing around."
"I didn't want to do anything today and no one is going to make me do so," Draco said snootily.
Blaise raised his hands. "It's not like there's anything that I could say or do that would make you get up," he stated. "I'll be going now." Blaise started to head towards the dormitory when Draco shot his head up.
"Blaise," Draco started to say. Blaise looked over his shoulder towards his friend with a raised brow.
"I just want you to know that this entire conversation was completely pointless."
Blaise laughed, "Consider it known."
