The monster gazes back at me,

And any words I had die in my throat.

They would condemn me to this horror?

A lifetime in a room of mirrors,

Forced to see myself-

No, not myself!-

Exactly as I am?

I am not, I cannot be

The creature that stares back at me…

Get away!

Please, don't look-

Don't look at me…
