-The Introduction-

Well hi readers. Thanks for clicking on this story and like all the other fanfictioners I do not own anything except this story on this website.

To start off I want to make this story easy for me soooooo . . . the Utonium sisters and the Jojo brothers don't have superpowers and they don't know each other.

Let's catch you guys up to speed on this story.

Bubbles Utonium and her sisters were all happy in Townsville. They were shopping at the Galleria mall for their 15th birthdays until that got a text message from their mother (Btw the Professor married Ms. Keane when they were 8, had some problems in their relationship so they split when the girls were 13 but they still remained friends and raised the girls together but in separate houses.) saying their father has been in an accident at a science convention in England and died. They mourned for a very long time until Ms. Keane came up with the idea to move all the girls to Houston, Texas. Bubbles and her sisters agreed and left behind Townsville to have a new refreshing experience of life in Houston.

10 years later . . .

Bubbles Utonium at age 25 has already been divorced. Her husband of 5 years Peter was caught on the surveillance camera in the elevator fucking his 18 year old intern and it being plastered all over the internet. She kicked him out, inherited 3 cats and a dog and spent all her time with her profession of being a photographer. She is scared of having multiple divorces like her mother, so she's scared of new love and afraid of a possible divorce in the future.

Now Boomer Jojo and their brothers have been through heartbreak as well. Their father Michael Jojo (Changed his name from Mojo Jojo to Michael Jojo because that sounds stupid.) and their mother Clara Jojo have died in a car accident when they were at the age of 18. They had to grow up fast; no time to mourn the death of their parents so Brick decided to move the boys to Houston, Texas get a job as a plumber raised enough money to get an apartment where they can all live and live off of. Boomer and Butch went into the army when they were 21 and came back when they were 23 because they really wanted to be police officers. Brick decided to become a secret agent and only came in contact with his brothers when it was necessary (or that's what they thought.) Anyways Boomer got in a relationship with a girl named Sarah and married her 2 years into their relationship. Sarah became ill with cancer and died when Boomer became 29. Boomer was depressed and at work he was worse. He would take risky chances while on the job with his partner and brother Butch. Butch hated so they had a huge argument and requested for a change in partners.

Sometime later . . .

Boomer got a new partner Zack and this is when you go to read the story now.

- Boomer's P.O.V -

Detective Boomer Jojo stared into the nose of a .45 semiautomatic gun, his mind desperately seeking a way out. "Has anyone ever told you that you have anger issues?"

Had it been a lowlife perp with his finger on the trigger, the situation might have been easier to swallow. But it wasn't a perp. He forced a calm that he didn't feel in his Voice. "You should see someone about this".

Zack Baxter, his partner for the last two months nudged Boomer with his gun. Boomer bumped against the steel ledge of the bridge. A good forty feet below, the slow ripples of the lake splashed against the shore. He stared in the direction of the Black Escalade parked a half block down the road, which had leaded him to deaths door. Hip hop music blared from the truck which caused Big Bill the driver, a known street dealer and all around bad guy to dance outside of it.

Boomer motioned toward Bill, hoping to buy a few more minutes to figure out how to get his ass out of this shit. "Such talent and he's wasting his life selling drugs. I mean what gives?"

"Where's the fucking book pretty boy?" Zack asked, the sun glinting off his bald head.

What book? Boomer mentally filled that piece of info to consider later. "Seriously, now you're gritting your teeth. That's another sign of rage syndrome."

The barrel pressed cold against Boomer's temple. Panic roiled in his stomach, hitting a ten on the Richter scale of serious emotional upheaval. He didn't have time to analyze it. Nor would he give Zack the pleasure of seeing his fear.

Zack's nostrils flared. "Wanting to die is one thing, but you disappoint me. I thought you'd at least care about your fellow officer Mitchelson. All it took was one bullet.

"He ate my last cherry-filled donut last week" boomer shrugged, appearing cool on the outside but inside….. If mitchelson was really dead, he had two little boys who, thanks to Zack would grow up without a father. "And you know how much I love those donuts." It took everything boomer had not to go for Zack's throat, rip his vocal cords, and tie them in a bow around his zit infested neck. Boomer resisted, knowing Zack wanted him to lose control and make a foolish move so he could find the motivation to pull the trigger,

Boomer on the other hand, needed just a few sane seconds to make sure the next move he would make wasn't stupid. He needed a plan that excluded the lake below, a bullet or fat ass over there Bill. The big man had given Boomer a few solid blows to the ribs while forcing him into the car earlier. What boomer needed was to reach the gun bill had overlooked, the one strapped to his ankle.

Zack sneered. "You know what they'll say, don't you? You were just another Houston Texas cop gone bad. Lost your wife and your sense of justice. And I'll be the guy who took you down after I saw you kill Mitchelson. Of course, I'll take that hard".

"Do you grind your teeth at night, too? Acid burned boomer's stomach "that's bad for your over-bite."

"You think your funny huh pretty boy?" Zack jammed his gun into boomer's neck. "Laugh if you want, but I've already set this up. After an anonymous tip, the captain found that missing cocaine under your bed. I was told by IA to bring you in. what a pity that you turned on me and I had to shoot." Zack mouth pinched and creased white. "I can make this easy or hard. What do you want? I let Mitchelson go fast. One to the heart was all that it took.

Boomer held out his hands, hoping his rage didn't make them tremble. "I would appreciate it if you said I was handsome, not pretty but can you give me a second? I just hate making spur-of-the-moment decisions." Boomer said with sarcasm in his voice.

A glint of hundred-proof evil flashed in his partner's eyes. Time had run out

Boomer knocked Zack's hand to the right. The gun fired, the bullet shattering one of the escalades headlights. Bill's dance routine ended. "My Baby!" All Three-hundred-plus pounds of the man came charging at them. Thankfully, bill danced better that he charged. The man ran like a drunken elephant.

Boomer slammed Zack's wrist into the bridges steel rail. Seeing his gun hit the pavement brought a flash of relief, then Boomer saw bill digging into his pants. The man had either a yeast infection or it's his own gun, and boomer would bet his left nut on the gun. Without enough time to go for his own weapon, Boomer shoved Zack down and took his only way out. Not one he felt particularly happy about either. He dove off the bridge, and the hot pain of a bullet exploded through his shoulder right before he smacked into the water below.
