Raven walked nervously down the hallway, she was about to meet her new team- The Avengers. She glanced over a Fury; he was like her second father. He nodded for her to walk into the room. Raven looked nervously around the room, taking her time to look at each person. She recognized her Idol- Captain America. She gave them a slight wave before turning to Fury, unsure of what to do. Captain steps forward and walks to Raven.
"Pleasure to meet you Ma'am." he said. Raven blushes slightly, "The pleasure is all mine sir" She gives him a warm smile and the Captain smiles back. "Well, should I introduce our team to you miss?" he offered. Ravens forget that they were all there, watching her. "S-sure" "This is Tony Stark... aka Iron Man... Thor... Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow... Clint aka Hawkeye... Bruce Banner... aka Hulk.. And me..." he said. "Captain America, I've read all the comics" She laughs nervously and glances at Fury. Captain blushes a little. "Really? Well that is very neat." he said being intrigued.
Raven smiles up at him, "Thank you. Oh...I forgot my name is Raven" "Nice to meet you Raven." Captain said as warmly as possible. He truly wanted to make her feel welcome. Raven looked down and blushed, "Thank you." She could feel her insides melting at each word he spoke. Captain just laughed. "Would you like me to show you to your room Ma'am?" he offered. Raven blushed and nodded her head, "That's very kind of you" Captain blushed a little himself. "Yes, well... Follow me please Ma'am." he said. He thought that Raven was very sweet and kind. He liked that. She was also very beautiful.
Raven casted a side long glance at Steve and smiled. Her eyes traveled to his lips then to the doors in front of her. "Welcome to the team Ma'am." he smiled. "This is your room. I hope you like it." Raven opened the doors and smiled at her room. Before she could stop herself, she hugged Steve. Steve laughed, and hugged back. Raven blushed and pulled back, "Sorry...sometime I just get excited about things." She bit her lip and gave him a small grin. "Quite aright Ma'am" He said smiling at her. Raven nodded her head, smiling to herself. She was still in shock that she was actually with him.
Raven bit her lip and looked into Steve's blue eyes. He just simply smiled at her, liking her excitement. He thought she was going to make a great addition to the team. Raven blinked and looked away before running and jumping onto her new bed, sighing in happiness. Steve chuckled and shook his head at her. "Well…I'll leave you to get settled in. It's nice having you here Ma'am. I think you'll do us good." She smiled at him gratefully before flipping onto her stomach. "This bed. So comfy. Never want to get up!" Steve laughed again before walking out of her room and closing the door. What a strange women she was, but he liked it.
