This is a response to the 100 theme challenge, Its a New Year and Ive decided that now is the time to start!
I Have chosen my OTP (James and Lily Potter) for this and this dose NOT make a complete story or follow a time line.

First Glance
Lily Evans sat on the Hogwarts Express trying to absorb everything around her. It was only months earlier that she had received a letter informing her that she was indeed a witch and was invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was very exciting for her because it meant a chance to finally fit in; she didn't have many friends back at home anyways. Luckily, her best friend, a boy with a pointed nose and oily hair, had also gotten a letter but he was nowhere to be seen. Lily had accepted such, boys and girls usually didn't associate with each other but it still would have been nice to have at least ONE person to talk to.
Just then, the opening of the door of her compartment startled Lily out of her thoughts and she looked up and was staring into the eyes of a boy her age. She couldn't help but be excited; this is the first person that had spoke to her since she had exchanged good byes with her mother.
"Mind if we sit?" He asked and motioned toward his group of friends standing in the doorway.
She nodded and as they entered the compartment with lots of noise and excitement. She moved to the seat on the opposite of him and his friends.
"Do you have a name, Red?" Asked one of the boys, he had glasses and hazel eyes and messy black hair
She smiled slightly and offered her hand for him to shake it, "Lily Evans, and you are?"
The boy took her hand and smiled,"James Potter"
"Gee thanks for introducing us Jamie" Said the boy on James' left.
James sighed and motioned to the boy,"And this is Sirius Black"
Sirius smiled "Nice to meet you Miss Evans"
"You to Mr. Black" She said and turned her attention to the passing countryside
"So Evans," Said James and she turned to face him "I'm guessing that this train is probably the most amazing thing you have even seen."
She nodded "Definitely"
"Well hold on to your hat because I'm about to make it Much more interesting." He smirked at her
"Hey James?" Said Sirius
"Yeah?" James replied, raising one eyebrow
"Stop flirting…" Siuis said and smiled cheekily at them
Lily turned a deep shade of crimson and James stared at the floor. Siruis, however let out a hearty laugh and leaned back in his seat. James however, didn't find this funny and smacked Siruis on the back of the head.
