Dragons roared, fire crackled through the sky as the battle raged on between Angel, Spike, Gunn, and Illyria. While Gunn was badly wounded, the others were managing somewhat fairly when it came to the onslaught of demons and dragons coming at them.
Each one of them had wounds that seemed great, and yet they all held onto hope.
Champions, all of them.
The pained roar of a dragon came through the sky, followed by the beasts' carcass cascading down and crashing into the ground at Spike's feet. "Bloody hell…" Spike muttered, looking upwards as a figure came landing atop of the dragon.
"Hello daddy dearest, miss me?" Came the voice of a woman, and it earned a very irritated groan from Spike. "Pet, you're here, now go home." He grumbled to the woman, who had gone off to attack the beasts that remained.
Angel was in the midst of taking down a demon, when all of a sudden the demon fell to the ground at his feet and she pulled the blade from its back.
Angel's eyes met hers, and for a moment the fighting stopped around him and she met his gaze in return. "Who are you?" Angel asked, looking into her eyes.
"Julia Devores, Slayer." Julia replied before rushing off towards the injured Gunn who was laid out on the ground not a few yards away.
Julia pulled out a vial of potion, pouring it over Gunn's fatal wound in his side. "Heal up, the fight is over but you're still needed."
Spike and Angel stood amidst the dead bodies of the demons and dragons, and were soon joined by Illyria and the now healing Gunn. "Well it seems she came at the right time, who is she?" Gunn asked.
Spike shook his head, looking at all of them than at Julia as she appeared in front of them. "She's my bloody daughter, the Slayer." Spike said as they all looked around.
Angel would never admit it, but something was there, a spark that he hadn't felt since he came to L.A. after leaving Buffy. This spark was so evident that he feared what may come of it, but she intrigued him.
