(The Study Room. Late afternoon, with dim light shining through windows. Two couches are laid side by side, facing inwards towards the center of the room. ONE SHOT camera facing them, slowly dollying across the scene.)
(On the first couch, from left to right, all apparently asleep: Buzz Hickey, eyes squeezed shut, shoulders hunched; Frankie, head almost upright, left eye stubbornly half-open; Dean Craig Pelton, cuddling up to Frankie, but left hand still extended to touch a thigh two seats over. Next, Shirley, head leaning to the side. Right hand gently rests on Dean's arm, but left hand is wound around the arm of Jeff, who sits/sleeps next to her. Jeff is as he is in season six; bearded, dressed in jeans and a sweater. His right arm is draped along the top of the couch, reaching Shirley, the Dean and just barely brushing Frankie's left shoulder. His head leans back against the couch, but angles gently to his left, towards the last person on the couch. Annie is beside him, a softly gleeful smile on her sleeping face. Her and Jeff's hands are intertwined, locking fingers.)
SFX: Birds chirping.
(Annie's left hand is reaching over to the second couch. It is placed on Abed's, which is resting sedately on his couch's arm. His left arm is occupied by Troy; their arms are both casually placed on the other's thigh. Troy is sitting upright; he needs to be to occupy Britta, who leans towards him, her hands wrapped around his arm, her face brushing his shoulder. Beside her is Leroy, his legs spread out with hands firm on them, his glasses askew, his mouth open and drooling. Finally, the last person on the couch. Pierce Hawthorne lies with his arms draped over the sides of the couch; one is around Leroy. The other is off the edge and weakly holding onto a bottle of scotch.)
(LONG SHOT of the entire group reveals that Chang is passed out sleeping on the coffee table in front of them. Someone has draped a grey letterman's jacket over him.)
(Sunlight shines through blinds)
