The Statue
ONE-SHOT
Bianca's PoV
Talos' Foot came down on me. As quickly as I could, I scrambled up the hole in the sole of his foot. It opened up to a huge space with control panels and buttons.
I slammed my fist down on them. There were a bunch of beeps and alarms, but Talos didn't stop moving. Looking around franticly, I grabbed a weird yellow switch and slammed it down. That's when Talos changed.
The whole floor shifted. Talos started dancing happily, but I wasn't in the mood. I knew that if I didn't get out of there fast, I would soon be a electrocuted spot on the floor. Scrambling down the ledges, I came to the foot, waiting for the entrance to be open.
Talos fell over, his insides going haywire. I struggled with a last attempt to escaped, but I was trapped. Huge pieces of rubble blocked my entrance, and my only escape.
Even then, I knew that I was dead. Strangely, I felt calm, longing even, to meet my dad. I know that I should be afraid, he was, after all, the god of death, but I wasn't. A peaceful feeling settled over me, and I closed my eyes, letting my senses slip into darkness.
My last thought was 'give the statue to Nico, Percy' before I...well, I died.
