Cat and I have been together for about two years now. Two years we graduated Hollywood Arts High School and I asked Cat if she wanted to be my girlfriend. I couldn't stand not being with her after we graduated so I had to make things steady. I got rid of Rex and now I have Cat.
"Robbie, help me put up the tree," Cat says. I can't stand how adorable she looks. Cat was wearing a pink sweater and yoga pants that fit her in just the right places. I couldn't help but look at her.
"Sure thing, Pretty lady," I say to Cat. I tickle Cat on her stomach before I start to set the lights on the tree. Cat's laugh is so adorable. I love making Cat laugh. It's a sign of true love. After I set up the lights, Cat starts putting up some ornaments.
"Aw Robbie! Remember this?" Cat asked. I take the ornament from her and look. That was a picture of out first date I gave to her as an ornament for Christmas last year.
"Aw! Yes I remember this date like it was yesterday. You and I at Olive Garden and then went clubbing afterwards. That was the first time you slept over my house. As soon as I had you in my arms I knew you were mine," I say to Cat giving her kisses up and down her neck.
"Oh Robbie! Save it for the bed!" Cat says as she's poking my stomach. My lord she's so adorable. She hangs the ornament towards the top of the tree. It was my turn to put an ornament in the tree now. I picked up an ornament and it was from prom. Cat wore a pink strapless dress while I wore a tuxedo with a pink tie.
"That was the best time of my life," Cat says. I'm pretty sure it was the best time of her life. It was the first time she ever drank beer. Jade kinda forced it down her throat saying it was juice to see the reaction of Cat being drunk but I think Jade was drunk also.
"Cat you were drunk the whole time. I bet you remember what even happened that night," I said.
"No that was just me being crazy," Cat said. Cat has changed a lot since high school. She calmed down a little bit. She's not as "stupid" now as everyone thought she was. I never thought she was stupid, she just lived in her own world. Then again, what is the definition of stupid? Cat did really calm down a lot though.
"Um, okay, let's get the tree set up," I say trying to change the subject. We get the tree all up and it looks beautiful. We sit on the couch and admire the tree.
"Do you want to go for a walk?" I ask.
"Sure!" Cat says. We put on our coats and walk out of our small apartment. We walk down to the park under the tree we shared our first kiss.
"You know this tree has a lot of value to me, right?" Cat says.
"Yeah, it's going to have even more value now," I say as I get on one knee. "Caterina Valentine you mean so much to me. Ever since I laid my eyes on I knew we were going to end up together. Can you please accept this ring for marriage?"
I look at Cat and her eyes are teared up in happiness. She cries a little more before she makes her decision.
"Yes! Ill marry you!" Cat exclaims. I put the ring on her shaking hand from crying so hard. Or else she could be cold also. I lean in for a passionate kiss and we just stand there in silence taking in the moment, under the tree with many firsts.
