Chapter one

Ling's head was crammed in a history of Xing politics textbook reading the same paragraph over and over again until he didn't really understand the words in front of him. a sigh he picked up his phone to procrastinate for the fifth time in one day. I'll start the assignment later. He thought to himself knowing full well he was going to wait till the day before and write the essay on a caffeine fuled bender. It was how he normally worked and somehow got the best result.

The weather was slightly warm so ling cracked his window for some fresh air when he noticed a moving van parked outside with probably the most boxes he had ever seen. Whoever was moving in had a lot of stuff. Maybe he should ask if they want help since he was not doing any work and needed an excuse to not do any. Hearing voices outside his curiosity took over and he decided to take a peak. He saw a man dressed head to toe in black with a pair of sunglasses on his head, his dress sense seemed a little odd to him. Although the tacky dress sense award went to Ed but this guy gave him a run for his money. Was he wearing a fur coat? The man seemed attractive but it was hard to tell from the fifth floor, using his phone to zoom in to see the guys face, the man noticed Ling holding his phone at him to take a picture and he smiled and waved.

"Shit,Shit ,Shit He's noticed . Out of shock he pressed the shutter button and actually took a picture if. Ling felt like dying right there. Might as well look at the picture. Well damn Ling was surprised the man was actually kind of hot. His pearly white smile and violet eyes he looked like a model. Another thing Ling noticed he was buff too. He was lifting about five boxes with ease and began carrying them inside out of Ling's view

With a smile Ling sent to the picture to Ed.

Check out my new neighbour. He's kind of hot.

Ed responded seconds later.

You find everyone hot.

Ouch. But he is though look at his eyes. He caught me taking a picture so I can't face him in public ever again.

Why do you do this to yourself Ling? Just go out and say hello.

Sure thing small stuff. ;p

Ling waited for the inevitable angry emoji and snarky comment.

Who are you calling little? You're just bigger because you eat too much.

Speaking of eating…Ling responded

Can I come round for dinner ? I ran out of food again.

You greedy…Ugh fine Alphonse is coming round after his shift anyway.

Great! see you at 7 then!

Ling was disturbed from his conversation with Ed by sounds of voices outside. Oh no the man was moving in opposite to him. Sighing to himself he tied his long dark hair up into a pony tail and walked to his door . Better be a good neighbour and say hello.

Begrudgingly Ling open his door. He was not ready for what he saw. The first thing he noticed was how tall the man was. The man was talking to one of the removal men with a smirk on his face and what a smirk.

Okay Ling you can do this. Just got over and say hello. Ling walked over to the threshold of the other apartment and gave a cheerful hello, hoping it didn't come across to weird. The man walked over and looked Ling up and down.

"Hello …you're the one who snapped the picture earlier. Liked what you saw?" the man had a smooth voice.

With a nervous laugh " ha-ha yeah that was me… names Ling, looks like were neighbours now. " Ling extended his hand. "Greed." The man responded shaking Lings hand in return. Wow he had big hands. But Ling wasn't sure what to think of the name though. But smiled politely anyway.

"If you need any help I'd be happy to give you a hand."

"I'm sure you would." Greed retorted back with a drawl. Was this guy flirting with him?

Nervous laugh again " I'll take that as a no …so I guess I'll see you around then."huh? Oh yeah sure. See you around." Greed smirked and went back to loading boxes inside his new apartment. Without knowing what else to do Ling decided he better get back to work. He would defiantly be telling Ed all about his hot yet slightly strange neighbour.
