It had been an interesting day, Kyouya decided as he tapped away on his laptop, his work neverending.
He had been able to make a connection with a valuable client, causing him to become a more notable Ootori son. He finally had an upper-hand on the annoying king. And he was able to learn a little bit more of the commoner's customs.
Kyouya narrowed his eyes, the commoner had certainly surprised him today by her unusual perceptiveness.
"When you were helping that madam you said you helped her after seeing ring... that's a lie right? When we first saw that madam, we couldn't see the ring at all... I really don't get it, Senpai you purposely act like an egoist, but since you're really not an egoist, it feels weird."
But in the end, the whole day was a basic complete waste of time, and almost entirely about Tamaki. Even when he thought he made her laugh, it was because he, Kyouya Ootori, the Demon King, reminded Haruhi of Tamaki, the Idiot King.
Kyouya rubbed his temples as he took a quick break from typing on his laptop. Maybe someday he would tell the commoner how he felt. Maybe someday, Tamaki would be coming in second.
