Chapter one

Gen Cinder

As Cinder sat in the dark smoking another cigar she was thinking, thinking about her past life and how she got to this point.

It all started when she was 18 years old when she first signed up to be part of the Atlas military, at first everyone thought she wouldn't make it past the first week of training.

But when Cinder got there she blew through everything that the trainers threw at her, by the end of her training Cinder was promoted to Captain Fall and was in charge of her own squad.

Around this time there were disputes between the kingdoms one accusing of another of attacking the other.

Then one day it happened a bombing in an Atlas embassy killing 80 of the 200 occupants among the dead was the vice-president of Atlas, after some investigation it was found that the kingdom of Vacuo was responsible for the bombing, then after some time war was declared.

Around this time Cinder and her squad were training on how to do special operations behind enemy lines and due to this fact they were the first to be chosen for a special mission.

"Cap Fall your squad has be chosen for a very dangerous mission." the General started.

"Whatever it is we are ready to deploy Gen sir." Cinder says without hearing what it is.

"Ok i understand your enthusiasm but you need to hear what i have for you." the General says.

Cinder then nods and allows the General to continue.

"Your mission is to deploy behind enemy lines and lase targets for our smart bombs, and cause massive damage, do you accept?" the General asks.

"Yes." Cinder says.

"Good you will board the aircraft in 24 hours, so get ready." the General says.

"YES SIR!" Cinder and her squad shout.

24 hours later

After some time in the transport craft where Cinder and all 60 of her squadmates she was in charge of were resting before the start of the mission.

But there was one person who was wide awake after 12 hours of nonstop sleep, Cinder wondered how someone could sleep for that long.

The persons name in question was Sargent Kyle, whom Cinder liked very well he was someone who Cinder knew would be at her side no matter what happened.

At one point they were dating each other then one thing lead to another and they went to a hotel for the night and spent a romantic evening together, and since that event they were together like glue.

At one point Kyle then gave Cinder a unique nickname and gift to go with it the gift was a red scarf that could be worn at any time of the season.

"Hey Scarlet!" Kyle shouted.

"Yea Kyle." Cinder said back.

"You should get some rest so you are ready to lead us." Kyle says back.

Now while Cinder didn't feel like taking a nap but she didn't know how long this mission would take to complete.

"Alright Kyle wake me in 5 hours." Cinder says.

"Sure thing." Kyle says as Cinder rests her head against his shoulder.

After the requested 5 hours of nap time Cinder was shaken awake by Kyle.

"Hey Scarlet we are about to jump." Kyle says.

Cinder then was wide awake and she then got her gear ready while everyone else was following her lead without being told.

Then the bay doors opened and it was time to jump, so Cinder took the incentive and ran out the doors and began to free fall, then everyone followed her.

Then from that point forward it was successful mission after mission but it was not to last long.

Then one mission they had one objective and it was to lase a set of long range rockets that could carry a massive explosive warhead.

"That's strange." Kyle says to Cinder.

"What's odd?" Cinder asks.

"What's odd is that the launchers are out in the open and are not hidden like the other objectives we've attacked." Kyle says.

"Well maybe they are getting careless." Cinder says.

"I just don't like it." Kyle says.

Then after some time hiking through the desert, then they came upon the objective and to their luck there were few guards around, one sync shot later they moved up on the objective, then without warning more enemies came over the hill starting a shootout between them that lasted for hours.

Then when the last of the combatants had fallen, Cinder took one look around to see if her squad was still standing, for a few they were wounded but they would live, but then her eyes rested on one of her squad mates who hadn't moved for some time.

And the person was Kyle,he was shot dead he got a round to the center of his head killing him instantly and Cinder didn't notice it.

"NO!" Cinder shouted.

Then one of her other squad mates ran up to her.

"Captain we must get out of here more of those fighters are coming!" he said.

"NO i will not leave him!" Cinder shouts.

"If we are discovered then it's all over, we are going to destroy any evidence that we were ever here, there is going to be an airstrike in a few minutes we need to get out NOW!" the soldier shouted.

Cinder then took one last look at Kyle's body and gave him one last kiss.

"Goodbye Kyle." Cinder said as she took off running.

She dared not to look back or she might decide to stay with him, then a few minutes later the bombs were dropped and the site destroyed.

Then Cinder was brought back into the present where she took a good look around and she notice what time it was.

"Well better get ready." Cinder said to herself.

A little while later she found herself in a graveyard where it was reserved for those who served in the Atlas forces that either died in combat or died of old age.

Cinder then made her way to the gravestone of Kyle and laid her flowers in front of it it was a mixture of normal flowers and red roses.

"It's been 15 years how much has changed i wished you could see the progress i've made." Cinder says to the grave.

After the mission Cinder served more in the armed forces then after some time convincing the higher ups of her abilities, Cinder was promoted to General of Atlas forces and the first female to do so like in ever.

"I miss you so much, there is something i must do, no something I will do, something i couldn't do while you were here, i tried you know i tried everything, and i still don't have their attention, let's hope this elevates their thinking, but whatever happens, please dont think less of me. I still love you." Cinder said to to the grave.

Cinder then got up and kissed the stone and got up to walk away to then start a new mission.

This story is going to take a while so how it's going to work is i'll type some chapters up them put them on in batches so one day you will see a bunch of new chapters to entertain you and i'm sorry that this one is short.
