Some place in Bristol, in a small house during midnight, an old lady in a nightgown was sitting inside her house, right next to the window. She was lonely. Who was she? She was Susan Foreman, the granddaughter of the Doctor.
"He promised he would come back.." Susan muttered to herself as she looked out the window. She sighed to herself as she walked back to her room upstairs. Picking up a picture frame with an old picture of her and her grandfather, she simply smiled. They had quite happy times together. She put the picture down as she got into bed and slowly fell asleep.
The next day..
Susan woke up, and turned to her side and saw.. a man. A man in a bow tie who was... bringing her breakfast?
"I told you I would come back." The man said with a small smile as he put down the tray. Susan stared at him for a few minutes before tears started to form in her eyes.
"G-grandfather?"
"Yes, it's me. Oh, Susan.. I haven't seen you in quite a long time. Look how old you've gotten.." The Doctor said, looking at his granddaughter.
"Oh, yes.. and you. You look so.. young." She said, having a smile on her face. "Oh, you don't know how glad I am right now, grandfather.."
"Well, I actually.. have to go now."
"Now? Right now?"
"Yes, right now! But don't worry, I'll visit you every chance I get.." The Doctor said as he ran downstairs and into the backyard. Susan suddenly got out of bed and walked to her window, looking out. She saw the blue box disappearing. The blue box that she used to travel in with her grandfather. Letting out a sigh, she decided to have her breakfast. The eggs did smell quite good..
