The Letter
Hello,
You might be wondering why you've just received this letter - bright blue envelope, no return address, and a few symbols printed in the top right hand corner where a stamp should be.
Now, I need you to read the instructions written here very carefully. Do NOT omit ANYTHING. Every single stage needs to be done in the precise order they are written.
Got that?
Oh, yes, why should you trust an anonymous, seemingly slightly illegal letter? Well, why do you trust your family? Your friends? Your neighbours and siblings and school teachers? If you trust all them, then you can trust me as well.
I need you to walk to your front window, and look outside. You should see a blue box - the blue is the same shade of this letter - with the words 'POLICE BOX' written along the top, parked outside on your street.
Go outside. It's a bit nippy tonight, so bring a coat. Walk up to the blue box, and push the right hand door.
It'll be unlocked, unless it decided to lock itself. It's tempremental like that sometimes.
Don't worry too much about what you'll find inside. I'll be there, of course, waiting inside.
I promise, I can explain everything.
I need to tell you so much Ellie Oswald. I need to tell you who your baby will grow up to become.
I know your daughter Ellie, and she is amazing, and impossible, and too good for an old man like me.
Just go outside.
I promise, I can explain everything.
The Doctor
