Hi, this is my first contribution to the world of fandom so please be nice, R&R! I decided that shippou is such a cute character that I simply had to write a story from his point of view. But enough from me read the story.

"When did the world begin and how?"
I asked a lamb, a goat, a cow.
Shippou snuggled closer to Kagome, relishing how soft her "sleeping bag" thing was. Kagome, Sango, and Miroku were all fast asleep; Inuyasha was dozing in his tree, and Kirara gone off somewhere, as cats are wont to do. 'So, I'm the only awake person here. That's unusual.' he thought. Of course his whole life had become unusual. 'Who woulda thunk it, an inu- hanyou, a neko-youkai, a houshi, a taijiya, a reincarnated miko from the future, and me; All friends, running around together trying to kill the evilest demon in the world.'
"What's it all about and why?"
I asked a hog as he passed by.
'Why am I with them anyway?' Shippou wondered. 'I'm the only one here without a good reason to be fighting Naraku. Sango needs to save her brother and avenge her people, and Kirara lost her friends in the village too, Miroku needs to break the curse in his hand, Inuyasha needs to save Kikyou's soul from hell, and Kagome's job is to the Shokon no Tama. Why am I coming too?'
"How could the whole thing end and when?"
I asked a duck, a goose, a hen.
Shippou suddenly struck on an alarming idea; 'What about after Naraku dies? What will happen then?' A valid question, and an alarming one too, now that he's thought of it. 'Will everyone just leave? Will Sango and Kirara go rebuild the taijiya village? Will Miroku start acting like a real monk, will he go with Sango, will he just wander off? What about Kagome? Will she not be able to get through the well any more? And Inuyasha, will he go live with Kagome or stay here with Kikyou? What'll happen to me?'
And I copied all the answers too:
'Ah well,' The little kitsune yawned, closing his eyes and beginning to drift off to sleep. 'I know the answer to all of life's problems;'
A "quack", a "honk", an "oink", a "moo".
'Pocky.'
