A/N: Hey, so some of you probably saw that I updated Jigsaw Puzzle, a bori fanfic. This is a seddie one-shot. I decided that if I had to get over what happened, I'm going to do it by writing. This is set after Carly leaves in iGoodbye.
Sam's P.O.V
I entered the elevator for what might be the last time and pressed the button to go to Car - Spencer's apartment. The tears were coming, threating to fall but I didn't let them fall, I wasn't going to break down like the day me and Freddie broke up. I wasn't. The door opened and I realized it wasn't Spencer's but Freddie's apartment that I was in. Woops.
I was debating whether to enter the apartment or just go to L.A where my mom was going to move after she got married. Before I could decide, Freddie's mom's footsteps were coming my way so I forced myself out and hid behind the kitchen counter. I realized that it wasn't just Freddie's mom but another persons footsteps and they were sitting on the couch.
"So, Marissa, tell me, what brings me here" I heard a voice say.
"Oh Tasha, things are just horrible here! Ever since that good-for-nothing blond demon broke up with him, he's been just horrible, horrible." she replied.
I realized that they were talking about me and Freddie's relationship. The other voice then spoke, "What do you mean by, horrible. Describe it" It was a therapist.
"He always mutters things like 'should've kept her', 'she was amazing', 'the only girl that he'll love'. I'm telling you, she put some voodo magic on my son." Marissa's voice inched louder at the end.
There was a pause and the therapist, Tasha, said, "OK, here's what I'm going to do. You come with Freddie to my office on Monday and we'll have a session were he'll open up about his feelings."
"Oh, thank you so much! You'll save my son, I'm telling you." Marissa got up and both footsteps faded. I queitly got up from my seat, trying to understand what was happening.
He loved me, he still loved me, and suddenly, I knew where to go.
THE FIRE ESCAPE - 5 MINUTES LATER
I stepped in after so long remembering the memories in here. Our first kiss. He was there, listening to the radio.
"Hey" He looked up to see me.
"Hey" he said.
"So, 'should've kept her' , 'she was amazing' , 'the only girl that you'll LOVE'." I said. He looked up at me with the shocked face after I kissed him in the lock-in.
"Listen, Sam, I understand if you don't love me or you don't love me but -
"Don't love me? Don't LOVE YOU? The only guy that I don't love is everyone else BUT you! What don't you understand?"
"If I would've known that you wanted me, like I wanted you, then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart, but right here in each others arms."
They inched closer to each other before the gap between them was gone and they were kissing, kissing like they never did before. It was soft and sweet, filled with so much passion, the passion that was missing for those heartbreaking months.
"And we almost, we almost knew what love was, But almost, almost is never enough.
I few seconds later, they broke the kiss and smiled at each other, happy, that they could cuddle again, kiss again, feel the happiness when they saw each other. And happy because they know that Almost Is Never Enough.
A/N: Hope you liked this one - shot.
