Jude Stays
Since the shooting Jude has been coming to the hospital trying to see his best friend Connor.
Jude has been sitting in the waiting room that is across from Connor's room.
He keeps looking at the last text that he got from Connor telling him that he told his dad that he was gay.
Jude hears the door open and sees Connor's father leave the room.
"Today is the day." Telling himself
Jude gets up from his seat and walks across the hall to the door.
He takes a deep breath and opens the door.
He sees Connor in bed looking out the window.
"Connor" Jude whispers
"Jude, what are you doing here? My dad will be right back."
"I had to see you. Don't worry about it. I saw your dad go the elevator."
"I am glad you are here. I missed you."
"I missed you too. I have been worried about you." Walking towards the bed
"I am doing better. They had to fix some tendents in my foot but I should be able to walk in a few months.
"Good and I'll help you anyway I can."
"Thanks" with a smile
The door opens and one of the nurses comes in and says, "I'm here to rewrap your foot." Putting stuff on the table
"Well, I should go."
"No, you don't have to go. It won't take long."
Jude stays and waits for the nurse to finish when the door opens again and Connor's father walks in and sees Jude.
"What in the hell is he doing here?
"He is here to see me." Connor says
"I told his mother that he can't see you anymore." He pointed at Jude and says, "You get out of here and don't ever contact my son again."
Jude starts to move but Connor grabs his hand and says, "No, Jude stays. You can't stop me from liking him because I do."
Jude stands there holding Connor's hand smiling.
Connor's dad get angrier but leaves the room.
Jude looks at Connor and says, "I like you too."
Connor smiles at him and moves to the side of the bed to let Jude lie down next to him.
Jude lies down and takes Connor hand and looks out the window.
