His Oath
Forced to fall for demigods
Who could never stay,
Calypso became upset quick,
And wished they'd stay away.
Leo landed on her island
Right onto her table.
She asked if this was a joke.
Leo proved he was able.
As a son of Hephaestus,
Leo tinkered everything.
He decided to build a small raft,
And went to bed sweating.
Calypso finally fell in love,
And kissed Leo bye.
None can ever stay with her.
She let out a sigh.
Leo swore that he would search
For his one true love.
"An oath to keep with a final breath."
A push became a shove.
With the war with Gaea finally won,
Leo fixed an astrolabe.
It was started by Odysseus,
And became Leo's babe.
He worked all hours of the day,
Until one crazy night,
Leo had a life altering accident,
But lived with all his might.
His closest friends stayed with him,
Until the day he died.
The gods granted him a last wish,
And he nearly cried.
He did not remember much,
But thought of Calypso.
"An oath to keep with a final breath."
After, he was laid low.
