Kyo was furious. His daughter was knocked up and now Ayame was over at his house every day trying to make more clothes. His baby girl! How could this happen? He felt a small hand on his arm and looked over to see Tohru.

"Are you okay?"

He shook his head, still too mad to speak. She sighed and moved closer to hug him.

"It isn't that bad. We knew this was going to happen eventually."

"Yes," he ground out. "When she had a career and was MARRIED. That boy won't even marry her!"

"Because they aren't ready to get married."

"But they're ready to have a baby?"

She looked up at him with tears in his eyes. "It's difficult for you to understand, Kyo. Having a baby is a different level of maturity than getting married. I was ready to have a baby with you before we were going to get married. If you recall, our situation was very much like our children's."

He sighed and wrapped his arms around her.

"But she's my little girl."

"Look at the bright side. Now we can spoil our grandchild rotten."

He let out a small smile and she decided to go further.

"Wouldn't you like to have a little boy or girl calling you grandpa?"

His smile grew bigger and he nodded.

"I won't let this go so easily but I understand. I'll try and be supportive."

"Kyoko couldn't ask for more."

The parents had a meeting that night and it was full of tension. Yuki and Machi were very much against the baby as well but now there was nothing they could do about it.

"We never meant for this to happen," Yuki insisted. "I swear that we didn't know."

Machi put a hand on his lap. "None of us knew."

Tohru was quiet and then decided to add her opinion. Living with Kyo for so many years eventually rubbed off on her.

"I think that they should be able to do what they want. It will help them learn and then they can do what they want. If we step in, then they're just going to want to do more by themselves and then there won't be anybody to watch them."

The other three nodded and Kyo looked over at Yuki.

"I think they should marry but they don't even have a place to live right now."

Machi narrowed her eyes. "Why don't they live with you?"

"Because your son knocked up our daughter!"

"But she has clearly expressed the want to live with YOU!"

"But YOUR son knocked up OUR daughter!"

While the two argued, Tohru and Yuki conversed. She was very anxious about the entire thing.

"I think they should live here. Kyo won't admit it, but he wants to teach Katsuya how to dad things."

Everyone's talking was interrupted by Kyoko stomping through the door in tears. Kyo made a grab for her but she fell right against him, crying.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm not pregnant," she sobbed against his chest. "It was a false alarm."

A sigh of relief went through all of the parents. It went unnoticed by Kyoko who was too busy crying.

"Why are you crying them?" Tohru wondered out loud.

"Because I wanted a baby!"

Kyo stiffened. "But you couldn't take care of one right now so you should wait until you're older. I hear thirty is a good age to have your first kid."

Kyoko giggled and pulled away.

"I know. But I wanted someone to take care of. I think I would make a good mother."

Kyo nodded. "You will eventually. Do you really need something to take care of?"

Kyoko nodded back.

"Then how about a cat?"

Kyoko's eyes lit up. "Really? You mean it?"

Kyo nodded and Kyoko squealed in delight. She hugged him, grabbed the phone, and headed to her bedroom while calling Katsuya. Once her door was firmly shut, Kyo collapsed to the floor.

"I'm going to have a heart attack."

Yuki nodded and the women could only smile at each other. It was about time they agreed on something.
