She just laid there in his arms, barley breathing.

he whispered "don't die Sakura, please, i-i love you"

his warm tears landed on her pale face. With her last strength she said "i love you too Kakashi, i always have"

with that last word she dropped her eyelids and fell limp in his arms. Inside he was so upset that he didn't even notice that she was only unconscious.

He took her back to the village as quick as possible like he knew a way to save her, even though he thought she was dead.

He didn't know what else to do with her, so he headed to her house and snuck into the window and laid her on her bed.

There, he covered her up, and hoped he would wake up the next morning to see this was just some terrible dream.

Days went by with out any sign of Sakura. He assumed that she had already been buried.

One afternoon, he was just walking around town because he had nothing better to do when he spotted a young lady at the shop. He thought to himself that he had lost it.

There's no way. Slowly she turned to face him. They both stared at each other with shocked faces. They stayed that way for what seemed to be forever.

He started slowly towards her, not knowing if she was real or not. She dropped her bags and ran to him. He caught her in a sudden but deep kiss. She kissed him back fiercely.

He whispered in her ear "don't ever scare me like that again."
